My draft time RBs for one of my leagues this year:
Jamaal Charles
Knowshon Moreno
Ahmad Bradshaw

Anyone see the common link?

JC has been great, and the other two guys, especially bradshaw, were later round picks that paid off pretty well while they were available. You could have done a lot worse

That's not bad at all, as Slayer pointed out both the later were great value picks, especially Bradshaw. Now if your first 3 picks were AP, Doug Martin, and Zac Stacy then you'd both been hosed and paid full retail price for them with little to no return.

Lost by .28 points. Sankey and heath did more damage then bryant.

Lost by .1 on kneel downs by Ben with over 115 points scored for each of us, shitty. In other league, lost by .95 points with over 100 points scored, needed another 10 yards from Leveon. I'll still make the playoffs in one but the 2nd loss really makes it a longshot in the smaller league since only 4 make it. The irony is that I'm in the top 4 in scoring in both 12 and 10 mans but ranked 7th and 8th due to ridiculous amounts of points scored against. That, my friends, is bad luck.

Ronnie Hillman is available in my league. Is he worth a stash for playoffs (weeks 14-16).

I currently have Jamaal Charles and Knile Davis.

FWIW: I have room for two RB pickups. IU have to see what I can get for the second. And I have already clinched a playoff spot.

I expect Hillman to split carries in some capacity with Ball and/or Anderson if/when Hillman returns. I don't think there's a ton of upside.

There's speculation of Ball going on IR. With Blount being available, I'd wonder if the Broncos look at him.

I like to carry two DST in my lineup. Currently have Chargers and Cowboys. Set to play the Chargers this week. But thinking of dropping them for Ravens and Colts and play the Colts this week. Colts and Cowboys are pretty much similarly ranked but Colts are playing the Jaguars this week. So there's an upside there vs Chargers vs. Rams. And Ravens are a much better ranked DST than either teams I currently have.

Thoughts?

How are your DSTs scored, standard (+5 to -1 points for 0-34pts)? That will tell a lot as to what you should do. For standard scoring I like to play teams that excel in takeaways (http://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/takeaways-per-game) since that has the potential to break open a week. Even if they don't score, then no big deal as long as they're not giving up >34 points, the big penalty doesn't hit until 35 points (-3). So in above link, even though ATL is top 10, it isn't ideal because they are giving up big points - they give up the most yards in the league (http://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/team-stat/total-defense-category). Houston and Green Bay are also high on the list but have since improved so you also have to analyze their current situation - both are almost always good plays in standard unless the matchup is bad, such as going against a high powered O and risking the 34 threshold. The rest of the top 7 are probably not available (Buf, SF, AZ, NE, Miami) but those are also good plays.

In other leagues where low scores are heavily rewarded, I like to fade the lowest scoring teams like Jax or Oak or sometimes STL (depending on the matchup). That will take precedence over how good a defense is. For example, Indy vs Jax this week is the top play over better defenses like Detroit vs NE, but that should be obvious.

Regarding your question, I'd play Indy vs JAX over SD vs StL. SD looked good last week but it was against OAK and Indy should rape JAX on both sides of the ball. Dallas vs Baltimore, they're close in takeaways but Balt gives up less yards so I'd go with Balt.

I carry 2 DEF/DSTs too late in the season, but I don't think Indy is the one you should go with as they're not really that good, middle of the pack at best. What other Ds are available on your wire?

Managed to grab Gio for Beckham Jr. from a WR-desperate borderline playoff contender. Whee.

Here's how the DST scoring is done in my league

I made a chart of opponent rankings by week. I think i'll be ok going with Colts and Cowboys. Ravens only have a favorable matchup on wk 15.

Other DST available. Already picked up the Colts for the Chargers

That's the right choice. It seems that if your DST can hold the opponent to 13 or less, you'll gain a decent advantage with at least a +4 bonus or more.

I only stream week to week, but I do field 2 DSTs to prep for the following week. Next week is looking good for STL vs OAK, or NYG vs JAX. I'll probably roll with STL, Oakland is just terrible. Jax isn't much better.

Lamar Miller or Darren Sproles (non ppr)?

Gronk and Bowe for Ingram and Owen Daniels?

Miller unless you need a high-upside Haily Mary pick in which case I can justify (but still wouldn't pick) Sproles.

Bowe and Daniels are trash and irrelevant to the deal. Gronk is arguably TE1 in fantasy and Ingram should be a RB1 level producer rest of year, pick whichever position your roster needs more.

They countered Gronk and Bryce Brown for Ingram and Andre Johnson.

I have lost a couple players due to injury.

I won a game this week where the IDP correction put me over where I had originally lost. I am now 11-0 in that league.

9-2 in some random league I joined

7-4 in a league where I had the Steelers against Antonio Brown. Thank you for running out the clock. I had Sanders, Bradshaw and Allen leave early this week.

I get to look forward to next year. The last league is a keeper league (three players and 0.5 PPR) and looking at what I have right now, there will be some tough decisions:

McCoy (I know he has had a down year but there just aren't enough RBs that are getting a bulk of the work)
Ellington
Emmanuel Sanders
AJ Green
Mike Evans
Josh Gordan

And down low on the list:

DeSean Jackson (will only look at him if RG3 is not playing)
Jordan Matthews

Right now, I am lokoing at:

McCoy
Green

That leaves Ellington, Sanders, Evans and Gordan looking at the last spot.
