Hmm, thinking about proposing a trade for Corduroy patterson since the owner is hurting badly for RBs. Jeremy Hill + Josh Gordon for Patterson. Only problem is that I don't really need Patterson since my WRs: Gordy, Roddy, Keenan, Kelvin Benj but it'd be nice to have a talent problem at WR/FLEX. Plus I'm trying to get rid of Gordon off my bench. My current RBs are Demarco, Vereen, P.Thomas, J.Hill. His are Joique, AP (may get him for 1-2 more weeks tops), & Ingram (broken hand). Ouch. I can probably pick someone off the WW to get 75% of value for Hill, like Ridley or backup of the week to fill in for bye weeks.
 
so I plan on starting a fan duel league for us this week. can we try and get a head count?

After gettting pretty much zilch from Jamal Charles and Marques Colston (should probably add Tom Brady to the list), I was carried to victory by Dan Bailey, Delanie Walker and Darren Sproles....

Need to find a replacement for Jamal now... 🙁

Sproles! I really should have drafted him. Shit. I knew the Chip Kelly system would rejuvenate his career.

I offered Hill/Benjaminz for Corduroy P but haven't heard back. Now that Roddy is hurting again, I need to aim high.
 
Yeah I stole Sproles in the 8th round of a 12 man league. I don't think anyone expected this though.

It just really goes to show you how unimportant the first 5 picks in a draft can be. Look at the week 2 totals so far for Charles, McCoy, Forte, AP and Lacy.

Of them McCoy is the only one that has even *somewhat* delivered. Now over the course of a season that could even out. But for now...ouch.
 
Ok so I said I am taking a mini vacation but I lied lol. I need some advice here.

I have the #1 Claim this week in my 10 team ppr league and the Jamaal Charles owner is interested in making a trade for Nile Davis if I pick him up. With A.J. Green sidelined I need some depth.

My team:
QB: Matt Ryan
RB: Le'Veon Bell, Reggie Bush
WR: Vincent Jackson, Cordarrelle Patterson, Reggie Wayne
TE: Jimmy Graham
Bench: A.J. Green, Cecil Shorts, Josh Gordon, Chris Johnson, Pierre Thomas, Danny Woodhead


His players are:

WR: Jordy Nelson, Antonio Brown, Andre Johnson, Mike Wallace, Markus Wheaton
RB: Jamaal Charles, Shane Vereen, Bishop Sankey, Lamar Miller, Fred Jackson

I would be willing to straight up trade Davis for Wheaton or Wallace but I am more interested in setting something up for one of his starting receivers. What do you think would be a fair trade?

Hmm, how about (Knile + (VJAX or Patterson)) for Antonio Brown? His choice.
 
Defense has killed me two weeks in a row. Dropped KC after getting. -.7 and with denver coming to town, go with the godforsaken fins that manage to lay a -.1.

Ended up losing both games by ~ a combined 5 because of that.

Yep I had to pick between detroit and the fins pass rush and chose poorly. The fins didn't even get 1 sack which was odd considering the talent on that team. ugh

My RB1 is leveon bell. I have no RB2 at the moment 🙁

I'm trying to pick up khiry robinson off waivers. Picked up isaiah crowell as he was a free agent.

Debating on making my ww option on Niles Davis, jeremy hill or Cameron Jordan ( was dropped)

My rb are forte, Pierre Thomas and Ellington. TE is Rudolph. Ppr league. Either player will most likely be my flex or bench depth.

I have first pick on Waiver Wire tonight. Available are:

Bradshaw
Nile Davis
Jeremy Hill
Rainey
Ridley (ugh, Pats RB's)

Who would ya take, and who would ya drop. I'm debating between Ivory and Moreno for dropping. Normally, if Moreno weren't injured, I'd drop Ivory. But who knows when Moreno will be back. I suppose the plus on Moreno is his injury isn't foot related, but the elbow thing could seriously impede his blocking and recieving.

Out of my waiver options I really like Davis and Hill. The thing causing me to hesitate on Davis is Charles could be back quickly, and if he is, then I may have passed on a prime chance to get in on Hill when I could. I also don't like handcuffing or carrying two players of the same position from the same team.

Any advice appreciated.

Edit: Also Gates was dropped Sunday morning. I doubt he'll be there come tomorrow. I'd take him, but I have Gronk and Kelce. It would be unwise to drop Kelce for Gates...right?...right?

So you can only carry 3rb's and one TE? Or are these just only the players you're considering dropping to add Davis or Cameron (if the latter, then why would you drop Forte?)

Oh no. Those are just the ppl in that position.

I'm dropping tayvon austin for one of these.

Didn't think my whole roster mattered its full of wr. Like maclin, Cruz, Andre Johnson, crabtree, Greg Jennings, locker and rivers.

I'm dropping Austin for one guy and possibly locker if I can nab another.

I would drop moreno and go for gates first and then Bradshaw. Richardson is a bum, we all know what he can do but he isn't doing it. Like u said Niles is only a few weeks, Rainey is also a few weeks. Ridley is a rbbc and a #2 option behind vereen.

Gates. Bradshaw. Hill. Would be the order I would look into.
 
Wow got some mighty tasty trade offers in my Auction PPR League. I could really use some advice on this one. My team:
QB: Peyton Manning
RB: Arian Foster, Alfred Morris
WR: Andre Johnson, Cordarrelle Patterson, Michael Crabtree
TE: Antonio Gates
FLEX: Andrew Hawkins

BN: Rashad Jennings, Fred Jackson, Jordan Reed, Terrance West, Knile Davis.

Trade offers (from two separate teams):
Trade 1 Send: Alfred Morris, Andre Johnson Receive: Jamaal Charles, Wes Welker
Trade 2 Send: Rashad Jennings Receive: Mike Wallace

Trade 1 is risky because I'm trading two healthy studs (or at least top 20) for two injured/suspended studs. If Welker and Charles come back by next week to their respective teams, I'll be killing it. I also have T West and Knile Davis as handcuffs/backups.

Trade 2 seems a lot less risky since I'll essentially be giving up a top 20 RB for a top 20 WR (at least so far) and I have more depth in RB (at least as backups).

Option 3 is I could accept both and craziness would ensue. Any thoughts??? I'm torn.
 
I disobeyed one of my FF rules from last year. Stop listening to stupid Fantasy Football Pro analysis. I had my mind all week set on starting CJ spiller. 30 mintues before Sunday kickoff, I was watching that Fantasy Football show on espn2. Vereen ranked 12th, had all the touches from the week before. CJ ranked 18th, so I say sure.. lets put in Vereen. Ouch, I lose by the field goal from that Eagles kicker last night. I put in CJ, and it's a easy, no worries about MNF, win.

Yeah i lost a league cause i took out CJ Spiller for Moreno for flex spot. Well we know how that went.
 
Trade thoughts from my above post ? My biggest concern with Trade 1 is pretty much the Jamaal Charles high ankle sprain. That's not easy to recover from; at that point, I'd essentially be starting Knile Davis and I don't know how good he is. Welker i'm fairly certain should suit up this week and he's healthy.

I feel your pain. I lost by one point because of Cody Parkey's last FG too. Had it been 4 yards further back and been a 40 yard FG, I'd have won. thanks, Sproles, for running that in just a bit more and fucking me.
 
Welp, Charles may be out, so help me pick RBs to put in. Obviously Morris is in, but I'm a little weary about Williams and McFadden. They just aren't the same as they used to be. I'm not thrilled about any of the waiver pickups because they split carries.

Out of those Bradshaw will probably have the most consistency. Ridley may have a couple of big games over the season but his output will be VERY unpredictable.
