huge battle at 2.3, it's starting to tick up... got back in at 2.34 for 3500 shares

I'm essentially using only profits to buy back in

So the question right now is are all the buyers propping it up with all the profit takers gone? Or will there be another run?

You gotta stay on top of it to take advantage on the reversals. There's too much volatility due to the major swings going on right now which is exacerbated by the addition of a ton of amateur investors who are trying to make a quick buck but getting slaughtered instead. Fortunately if you don't let greed control you, the reversals are really easy to spot, it's almost a literal roller coaster if you look at the intraday charts. The minute you see the parabolic effect forming, that's when one side is starting to outnumber the other and you best be on the right side when that happens because there's a huge delay when you place trades.

swing/day trade is the only option IMO...too much volatility. This thing makes roller coasters look like a joke.

My company stock is down 9% and the S&P up 6% since I rebalanced my 401k (sold a portion of my company stock in favor of a S&P fund) on 4/18 :)

Anyone own AMD? They are on the upside lately and they have huge contracts for the new Xbox and PS4 which im thinking will help them a lot but they always seem to struggle financially? Good time to get in or wait it out?

Im also looking at Alcoa.. nice that it pays dividends.

What's your advice for stocks with low moving volume?
For example: OSH

Much appreciated.

Watch the Bid - Ask spread (Diffference between the bid price and Ask price). Sometimes the limited amount for sale may have a much higher asking price than current market value. Don't try buying too much right off the bat as it may cause the price to ramp up. Good luck.

OSH seems like a pretty big gamble. Nothing but huge losses each quarter and a lot of debt. It looks like it has competition with Home Depot and Lowes, the big guys. Hoping for a buyout?

Forbes

The market seemed to remember that these government-sponsored enterprises had been placed by the Treasury Department in conservatorship years ago and are turning over most of their profits to the federal government.

Waiting for the TSLA supercharger announcement. Hoping to see a 'buy on rumor, sell on news' sell off, but TSLA hasn't exactly behaved normally lately.

So did FBN pop?

No. I don't know what happened with the stock price. I think they must have done a reverse split but I never saw articles about it. I was in at 97 cents and out at 99 cents. I am pretty much done with FBN for now.

Moving to cash in gerneal as my various stocks go up.

Oh, just saw in the news. 7-1 reverse split. How about that. At $6.75 which is 96.42 cents in pre-split terms.

Yet again after just slightly more than 24 hours... another long fly ball into left field, going going going... that frickin ball is out of here. This time I set my limit order for not just 2X my buy price, but I also included commission and the price of a haswell tablet for whenever one comes out.

Nothing in particular other than getting in low and out high.

I have had a few shares for quite awhile...at $2ish per share. I'm long on them, but kinda iffy right now. They are risky but have some upside. The xbox they helped develop the specs on the cards, not sure how that will pan into cash for them.

FBN took a huge shit today. Glad I sold out and decided to walk away for a while.

Ignoring the split, it's down to 79 cents. Ouch. Down 15% today.

I'm going to keep an eye on it for a potential turnaround.
