If the heat lose tonight, it's still a series.

Down 3 games to 1 with two remaining games (of the three) in SA doesn't bode well for the Heat. Not much a series if the Heat lose tonight. They would have to win the remaining three games, after losing two in a row at home (again, if they lose).

Snooze fest. At least I'll be able to go to bed by the end of the 3rd quarter. Maybe even half time. What a joke.

Damn, just looked at the score (didn't even know game was on, lol) and the Spurs are killing the Heat again. Long way to go but did not expect this at all.

Something is way off with the last game & tonight's game. Not Heat basketball at all & there's no way the Spurs are that much better than the Heat.

I think you're right if talking about the starters but I think the Spur's bench is by far the best in the NBA. They essentially have two starting NBA lineups on the team, if not more. I'm not so sure the 2nd five on the Spurs bench isn't better than the starting five at times.

The Miami Heat have completely quit. LeBron, Wade and Bosh are all playing terribly. We've got all these rumors swirling that they're looking to land Carmelo, but at the moment, it doesn't look like they have any desire to keep playing with each other, let alone trying to bring in another superstar. Utterly disappointing game, and not because I want the Heat to win, but it's just utterly boring watching a team give up before the opening tip. Terrible, terrible game.

That said, damn the Spurs are awesome when they're on song. Kawhi Leonard throwing down monstrous put-backs? Patty Mills drilling threes? Boris Diaw with the behind the back assists? That shit is ridiculous.

Apparently they have ample amounts of cocaine and amphetamines in the Heat locker room. There's really no other explanation as to why they sleepwalked through the first half and look energized to start this one. Unless they like spotting themselves a massive deficit for the challenge...

I need some of whatever they had to make it through the 4th.

LeBron James had 19 points in the third quarter. The rest of the Heat combined for two. That is just unbelievably bad. It's times like this that James needs that Jordan instinct. Not because he isn't scoring, but because he isn't threatening to murder his teammates if they don't play better. Someone needs to get in everyone's face on that team and bitchslap them until they wake up.

The amazing thing is he has 19 points in one quarter. Not only does he need to get in the faces of players, he needs to score another 19 to even give them a chance. No matter what anyone says you really can't put this game on him. Yeah he has a bad first half but overall a great game and is the only thing giving them any hope.

Why do you say that? Outside of Lebron, who on the Heat is better than their counterpart on the Spurs? Bosh might have a better shot on the outside than Duncan, but defensively and post? Yeah right. Wade over Parker, Manu or Green? Not with the way he's been playing. Only goes downhill from there, right?

The Heat binasty is one game from over. That was probably Wade's worst finals game of his career.

If the Spurs close it out on Sunday, this team could go down as one of the most remarkable teams in nba history, imho. Their rare combination of great veterans along with dominant youth, playing together like a machine is a thing of beauty.

I'm legitimately curious as to how this series will affect this Carmelo Anthony rumor. Honestly, the way the Heat are getting blown out, why would they want another superstar eating up basically all their cap space when the team that's beating them is doing it behind a great bench? And why would Carmelo want to come to a Heat team that's already reeling? If they start winning, he doesn't get any credit, but if this marks the start of a slide and Carmelo jumps on the bandwagon, he'll get killed by the press. It's a lose-lose for Anthony. Granted, the rumor already struck me as pretty silly, but especially so now that the Heat are getting blown out in their own building in the Finals. Game over, man. Game over.

Oooh, is it too early to start the "LeBron to _______" rumors? Knicks in 2015? Back to the Cavs? Milwaukee for sheer shits and giggles? Real Madrid due to a hilarious series of miscommunications?

I think that's a joke and would be about as successful as Barkley going to the rockets.

Think about it. The Blazers and the Heat had the same record. The Heat faced most of their games in the weak eastern conference, while the Blazers play out west.

The Spurs are putting the same beatdown they gave the Blazers. Maybe even worse considering the Heat have superstars and the Blazers are young.
