It'll be a longer series than if the Thunder made it out of the West.

I know, but I am very emotional about Spurs, Heats are unbeatable and I cannot bear the humiliation of defeat against Heat, a bunch of assholes who sold their soul for ring.

The Heat are peaking right now playing some great basketball. But the Spurs are also playing well. Should be a great series.

The Heat are a better team and are healthier/younger than the Spurs. The Spurs have homecourt advantage though, and the Finals aren't 2-3-2 this year. That helps the Spurs. Vegas is rightly putting the odds in favor of the Heat.

This should be a tightly contested series, unlike the OKC/SA series.

If they were a better team, they'd have a better record, considering their weak ass conference.

I'll take the Spurs in 6.

yes, making the finals 4 years in a row by selling their soul. at this point, you have to admit they assembled a frickin fantastic lineup that has been nothing but consistent.

bitter fans make bitter statements that make no sense. such as this one.

What's so amazing about Leonard on those dunks is that one is left handed and one is right handed.

Last couple of games the best miami played in months, could be real bad if parker sits some more.

And Barkley, Malone, Stockton, etc.etc.etc...

But Jordan will always be better than LBJ because he has six.

Just don't bring up Russell.

Seems like Vegas has the Spurs favored to win the series.

I do like this match up much better than OKC vs Miami though. That would have been incredibly one sided in favor of Miami.

What a great matchup. Two of the best (or two best) coaches in the league, against clearly the 2 best and most capable teams in the league that know how to come together to win.

Spurs in 6. They have a better bench and stronger interior, and matchup as good as anyone against the heat. I also believe they have a better ability to overcome foul trouble, and they are going to come into this matchup with a lot more hate and passion than last year. This is probably the biggest difference from last year's play, not to mention the further growth of their young players, particularly leonard.

Whichever team wins, it's going to become 'legend-fodder' for the primary story lines of the winning team.

Two of my least favorite teams in the nba. The sa floppers/complainers vs the I bought my championships heat.

I wouldn't bet on that, did you see how last night the team fired its afterburners once he was out? it's a common occurrence, he is the most egoistic person in Pop's borg collective. Most of the time his absence is irrelevant or actually helps the team win, just like last night.

Imagine Greg 'Wheelchair' Oden getting a ring before Durant.

no surprise there, as i mentioned earlier, its a bunch of assholes selling their soul for a ring, its not regular basketball. it's everything but, what a team sport stands for. They compare cry baby james to big name players, but people forget none of them deserted their team and joined a bunch of ring whores, their victory does not mean anything.

Easy to say because of how things were. If Magic had been drafted by the Knicks and didn't win rings would he have stuck around? He was on an all star team, so yeah he didnt have any desire to leave. Big surprise there. James tried to make it work, if anything he stayed with the cavs about 2 years too long.

And you can't just buy rings, if you could the Knicks would have one. They didn't even make the playoffs this year.

Shaq won a lot of championships with the Magic. And Clyde Drexler cleaned up with the Blazers. Wilt Chamberlain; boy did that guy ever suck after he left the Warriors. Of course Oscar Robertson did so much with the Royals. And I'm glad Lew Alcindor won that championship with the Bucks; much more meaningful than the five rings Kareem Abdul Jabbar won with the Lakers. John Stockton, that guy's pretty thrilled about spending his entire career with one team and winning <look up championships later> rings with the team that drafted him. Ditto Elgin Baylor. Or maybe you could just look at the top 50 players list as voted on in 1996 and see that 44% of the best players ever didn't win a championship with the team that drafted them. You know, cause only losers chase rings. Except the ones who win them.
