He's been too busy seeking out bankrupt airlines' food cache to resell to the poor folks at FedEx field to be concerned with personnel.

im pretty confident that you've never been to fedex field.

if people weren't willing to pay for the stuff at the stadium, it wouldn't sell. but guess what - it does, and there are lines and lines to buy the $8 beers. my own personal rule is 1 per quarter when i go (also because i don't wanna get too hammered).

if people couldn't afford to go to the games they wouldn't. but cowboys/skins tickets next week are already selling for $300/ticket for nose bleeds.

404 -poor folk at fedex not found.

lol, I missed the poor folks comment....is he at all concerned about comparisons to the fan base for the Colts in the undeveloped midwest?

:hmm:

It was obvious(to me) that Kaepernick was affected by the crowd noise in Seattle. Thats a failing most young qb's have. I would venture a guess that the stadium is part of the reason for Seattles good home record.

Oh, absolutely. Having the loudest stadium in the league always counted for something, even when the Seahawks sucked. The 49ers had to take TWO timeouts just because of crowd noise. It's possible that the 49ers would have made it a much closer game if they were at home...but with the way that both teams were playing on Sunday, the Seahawks still would have won.

pete carroll is much smarter than jim harbaugh and now that hes turned wilson into the black drew brees seattle would have to be one of the favorites to win da supa bow. the 49ers just dont have it this year, there are probably 7 or 8 teams that would beat them in the playoffs

hahaha Seattle already beat Dallas, Greenbay, New England, San Francisco, Minnesota, Chicago and San Francisco this year. Whats odd is most of their losses came from teams with losing records, but they play against well the better teams. They've only lost to one team with a winning record, and that was the first game against SF, in SF, 13-6.

They will be a tough out in the playoffs. If the current seatings hold, Seattle vs Washington will be a fun rookie vs rookie matchup. I kinda hope the Giants make it in. The Bears aint gonna do anything in the playoffs, but the Giants can run the table.

He might have meant "unfortunate", not "impoverished".

Then again, who knows.

Next weeks game between GB & MN is going to be awesome. GB is playing for the 1st round bye, MN is playing for a playoff spot and the Purple Jesus is chasing history for rushing yards. That's going to be a hard fought game.

This years playoffs is one of the more interesting ones I've seen in a while. GB, ATL, SFO and Seattle are all very good teams in the NFC. Houston and NE look vulnerable. Broncos look legitmate super bowl material. Gonna be a fun ride.

I sure hope this is on national TV. I really don't feel like going to a bar to watch that; going to be way too tense!

Right now I'd say that the Broncos look like the most complete team in the AFC and would be my pick for making the Super Bowl in the AFC. The NFC is far more muddled as the Falcons, Packers, and Seahawks all are playing fantastic of late, the 49ers just had a bipolar couple weeks so it's harder to tell.

As a Falcons fan, I'm most scared of the Seahawks as an opponent in the playoffs. Luckily the road to the Super Bowl in the NFC goes through Atlanta, and the Falcons are VERY good at home.

the niners have gone from bipolar to outright retarded. they have a bunch of guys on injured reserve, and then recently lost the white smith brotha, manningham and the gay dude

First round playoff games in the AFC will almost certainly be Patriots vs. Bengals and Ravens vs. Colts. I believe that only a very unlikely New England loss to Miami would change this.

you dont think teams like the pats, texans, broncos, giants, packers, falcons and saints and probably ravens, colts and redskins wouldnt beat the 49ers 80% of the time? they were just lucky this year. they are definitely a worse team than everyone thought they were

I don't know what you're smoking. Every team have bad games. To say 49ers got to where they are with luck is just downright ridiculous. They've already shown they can put a beat down on an upper echelon team (ie NE). Outside the division, only Giants have the 49ers number. Divisional games with Seahawks and Rams (which you left off) are typically close games as each team really knows each other well. Yesterday, 49ers came in tired. It took a lot out of them to fly east, beat the Brady Bunch, then return to one of the most hostile stadium in the league.

I see context isn't either of your strong suits. I obviously didn't mean "poor" as in financially poor. See #3 at http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/poor (HINT: as in "you poor guy!")

And you're right, I've never been there but I do know it is always towards the bottom half of NFL stadium rankings (or here for a rosier picture).

He might have meant "unfortunate", not "impoverished".

At least someone gets what I meant. 😀

You can't deny how solid Seattle looks, though. They are very, very different from who they were at the beginning of the season. The second half the season, Wilson has become a beast, and looks way ahead of the other two rooks--the only thing that keeps Luck up is the fact that he is doing it all on his own--Their defense is just, well, you've seen it, right? Those 150 or so points in 3 games? how much of that was defense?

They do look solid but again, they are sub-500 on the road. That was my point and I think people are jumping ahead of themselves to crown them and dog the Niners when just a week ago, the Niners looked invincible.

Oh, and nice try with you trying to turn this into a Luck vs. Wilson debate, but it won't work.

as far as Kaepernick. rofl--I doubt you are anyone can point to anything he has done to win any game that has been different than what Alex Smith has or would have done. It's a gimmicky joke of an offense with Kaep in there, the exact kind of stuff that you and AMD use to slight RG3 and the Skins. Really no reason why it should be a worthwhile "professional" offense on some other team. Fact, is, Smith has been one of the 3 highest rated QBs over the last two season. All he has done is win games. It makes no fricking sense to do what Harbaugh did at this point in the season.

It isn't that I think Kaepernick is that good; on the contrary, I just don't think Smith is the answer for the Niners. I've not really given an opinion one way or another on Kaepernick vs. Smith, but I do think the anti-Kaepernick crowd screaming for heads when he has had one bad game is silly. Smith has had good QB ratings the last couple of years, but he can't stretch the field and is entirely too predictable and limited IMO. That is why Harbaugh benched him.

On another note, I won't speak for AMDZen regarding Kaepernick but I will give my own opinion. I think Kaepernick is too gimmicky and will be another in the long line of flashy running/hybrid QBs that NFL defenses adapt to and consistently stuff unless he becomes a pocket passer. And if you do want to point out some real hypocrisy, you RG3 fans can't call Cunningham and Vick "running QBs" and say RG3 isn't one when RG3's rushing attempts are right in the neighborhood of the career highs for Cunningham and Vick.
