Ugh, the Ravens-Steelers game is going to suck now that we don't have Roethlisberger. :(

That's probably bad for everyone else too (except Ravens fans), it will likely be a less entertaining game now.

Without Ben these two Ravens games in the next three weeks are not going to be easy lol. I think if Batch or Leftwich can just play 'acceptably' (no major turnovers) and the defense does well the Steelers can win though; getting some work done on the ground and on returns (Rainey) would help a great deal.

If Ben Roethlisberger is out on Sunday then I think the Ravens will win. If he somehow plays then I don't think that Baltimore can win in Pittsburgh.

Leftwich has already been called as the starter for this week. Ben will absolutely NOT be playing - they said the nature of the RIB injury (not the shoulder) is dangerous should he play and take hits.

Sounds like Ben will be sitting for at least a couple weeks.

Batch and Leftwich are pretty decent backup QB's. Both are veterans who aren't gonna do anything stupid to try to be flashy and be in the spotlight. Batch is incredibly smart and will probably have a good future as a QB coach.

That said, I think the only way the Steelers win this game is if the D holds the Ravens to under 14 points.

I just feel KC has to win one coming off a game they should have won in Pitts, they will be fired up. And the Jets have to start Tebow, right? Right? No I guess they don't. If he doesn't start I'm taking St. Louis there.

I'd love for that to happen but its hard to see at Foxborough.

I agree with you on Batch but not on Leftwich. Leftwich will be starting. not Batch.

I'm even thinking about benching Heath Miller in my fantasy leagues because I have zero faith in the guy. God I wish Hernandez would get healthy, what a wasted fantasy pick that has been

lol, do much hate. So which team are you cheerleading for?

The Bills, of course. But I'm a realist... I expect them to lose. Still, it's a classic rivalry game (Squish da Fish!), so it'll be fun.

Only team I pretty much despise is the Pats. Followed closely by Rex Ryan. I know he's not a team, so be default I have to hate the Jets, and it helps that they're a division rival. And because of division rivalry, I can't like the Dolphoons either.

Other than that, never been too fond of the 9ers, Cowboys (despite the obviousness of back to back Superbowl losses, it irks me more: they're NOT "America's team"), and the Eagles. Dunno why I don't like the Eagles, I just don't.

Its funny because the teams I hate the most aren't even division rivals of my team.

Patriots
Cowgirls
Steelers

And I hate Oakland but they are so bad that its hard to hate on them. San Diego is pretty much the same although in years past I have truly hated them like when they are "good", and truly despise Philip Rivers. They were never really a good team but made it to the playoffs, those years I truly hated them. Never really hated KC but they've never been a good team either

I used to be a big Rex Ryan guy but now he can eat a dick. Tony Sparano was an ignorant choice, and why bring in Tebow for no reason? What a waste of talent.

It irks me when people say the Cowboys are "America's team" too. Though I also hate the Cowboys..

Oh, and a few more wins and Seattle will be buying into the Pete Carroll propaganda... they'll be on my hatorade list too.

Though I gotta say Russell Wilson is definitely impressing with what he has to work with.

It sucks because the Colorado Rockies drafted him and in Jan 2011, Wilson announced that he would report to spring training with the Colorado Rockies organization

He changed his mind.

ah, Russell Wilson :(

The baseball/football thing is why he was pretty much forced out at NCSU. He was unwilling to commit to coaches requests about practice and dedication to the team going into his senior year (because he truly loves baseball and is a legit stud in both sports), so he had to leave. Shitty situation, and I find myself supporting both sides of the issue.

Of course, he heads off to Wisconsin for his last and final year in the NCAA and is as good as ever. Only, being a bigger football market, people pay more attention to him.

I'll never consider him a Wisconsin Big10 player--what a load of dung. BUT, despite that, I'm truly glad it worked out for him there, because he's always had a great head and is a dedicated athlete.

Even happier that Seattle has worked out for him the way it has, and you can see him improving from week to week.

But I never expected him to be an NFL QB. I thought for sure he was destined for MLB. so surprised.

Thinking rapistburger going to miss both raven games which could mean the team in danger of losing the wildcard spot.

I guess Chicago v SF depends on which QBs are playing. I haven't seen the news for either, so this one could go either way. Both teams are lost without Cutler or Smith.

No faith in SD or Washington, but well, screw Manning and the Eagles are just baaaaaaad. :p

They would still probably get a wild card if they lost both games to Baltimore if they won the rest of them. The rest of the games should be winnable.
