Titanic performance by Verlander. Goodness gracious, the A's looked silly out there.

Luckily for the O's, Sabathia is no Verlander!

It's going to be cold here for the Nats game, 50 and possibly sub 50 degree temps here! Hope Gio and Wainwright aren't susceptible to the cold...

Lol, I doubt Verlander is on the juice.

BTW Nick Markakis will be back for the O's if they make the World Series. Cmon O's, just have to win tonight in NY.

oh, I'd like to clarify that roid suspicion had nothing to do with my comment comparing Verlander to Clemens--simply that it is increasingly rare to see a pitcher so dominant, year after year after year...with that kind of longevity.

I'd like to see him around for at least another 5 years, putting up performances like that. Hopefully much, much longer

I honestly don't think the juice did much for Clemens to allow him to last so long--he was just a freak, as are the handful of others that have that type of stamina.

Anyone else notice how Cano's hitting worse than A-Rod in this ALDS and yet A-Rod's the one that's benched?

Why does everyone have a hardon for Cano? He's more of a choker than A-Rod ever was.

Why the hell wouldn't they pull Sabathia in the 8th with bases loaded? Dammit! Tigers better step it up now, too bad that had to start Verlander in Game 5.

Holy crap, the Cards are charging! Down 6-0 and now they're back to 6-5 in the bottom of 8th. 3 more chances to go. Anybody know where I can look up the season match up record for teams vs. teams?
