So Mike Rizzo doesn't give a shit about the team by sitting Strasburg? That's pretty asinine...if he didn't give a shit about the team he would have rode Strasburg through the whole season not caring if he got injured again. Obviously he could have done things differently...like shutting him down a few games earlier so he could start the first game of each playoff series. Shit happens though...just look at the Reds....they probably would have beat the Giants but Cueto got injured at exactly the worst time.

The AL playoffs have been SO low scoring. I want to see my guys do something for once. But I'll take it if we keep winning.

This is the second time in a week he did this. Valverde should have been pulled after he let the first two runs in. Leyland was trying to help his confidence but it's not about Valverde now, it's about the f'ing team.
 
Fister, Ichiro, Ibanez, Soriano... a lot of former M's out there, all of whom were traded for one reason or another.
 
I take great satisfaction in the fact that the only thing worse than the Yankees hitters is Valverde. Hopefully he'll be done after this season. He's pretty bad.
