One hand on the bat, out of the strike zone, over Verlander's head and up the middle.

He could kick himself for only throwing it 4 inches off the plate because they were swinging at them a foot away.

Like Dunkin Donuts on facebook, get a free 5 day trial of MLB.TV premium. Just got the e-mail. I don't need it, but some here might. I'm going to go post this in its proper place in Free Stuff, but I thought more who want it might be better served by placing it here as well.

i wonder if hamels is going to plunk harper again tonight? might be interesting game to watch

Lol, no way. D:

The Phillies need to shut up, man up, and win some games before any of them thinks about schooling any more rooks.

Maybe this series will turn it around for the Tigers. Great catch by Berry and another clutch hit from the best hitter in baseball.

Magglio Ordonez is retiring.

His career stats: .309 with 294 home runs and 1,236 RBIs over 15 seasons. To hit .300 for one season is a genuine accomplishment. To hit .300 for your career in this day and age is beyond awesome.

The Do0d could really, really rake.

Much respect.

Congrats to Maggs. I'll never forget my favorite sports memory of my lifetime.

This is just ridiculous, another game involving Texas and an outrageous amount of runs. Except this time it's the other team! Mariners are leading Texas 16-0 and it's only the 4th inning!

FINALLY. So happy that its finally happened and happy that it was Johan that did it. I'm pissed though that it happened WHEN I WAS WORKING! ROAR!!! Johan had a very high pitch count and I hope he'll be ok for his next start.

WOW, great game by Johan. never thought he would get no hitter though. more than likely will have bad outing next time due to pitch count though. maybe give him extra day off between next start??

Been to 7 Sox games now, 5-2 record. Loving the team at the moment. They have players in the top 5 of the AL for AVG, HR, RBI, R, SB, W, ERA, BAA, and WHIP.

They also are in the top five as a team for the AL in the following categories; R, H, HR, SB, OPS, SO, BB, BAA, WHIP, DER, and FPCT.

Keep rolling!
