I get: Jeremy Maclin

I give: Kevin Smith

My RB: Adrian Peterson, CJ Spiller, Kevin Smith, Doug Martin, Donald Brown, Jacquizz Rogers

My WR: Stevie Johnson, Torrey Smith, Mike Wallace, Justin Blackmon

What do you guys think? While I like Kevin Smith, I think come week 3 his carries will be split, and his value is at it's highest while Maclin is at his lowest due to his injury. He is in desperate need of RB, only has Michael Turner, Ryan Matthews, Rashard Jennings, and Mendenhall.

Do it. Michael LeShoure or however u spell his name is coming back after his suspension (1 more game) and then he will be taking a lot of K Smith's carries. Way more dynamic, is LeShoure

Well, this is odd and yet compelling at the same time. I'm torn.

I've been offered his: Gore + Gostowski

For my: Spiller + Prater

My other RBs are Ray Rice, Doug Martin and Cedric Benson.

I'm not too up to date on Gore, I know age + history of injury (he's due, isn't he?) are factors. But I'm wondering if he should be more consistent than Spiller. Then again, this is a PPR league, so Spiller is intriguing to say the least.

Only issue with Spiller is goal line touches are going to be vultured by Tashard Choice (damn that Chan Gailey and his irrational love for Choice!). That's assuming Buffalo ever makes it near the goal line anyway.

I'd do it. Gore will get more points by the end of the season. Fred Jackson will be back in a few weeks, I'd say 4-5 more weeks at the most

I will say that adding the kickers is pointless though. Those two will be within 5-10 pts of each other by seasons end

I have:

Mike Wallace
Mile Austin
Chris Johnson
AP

I have Ryan Matthews on the bench due to the injury. Should I play Kenny Britt or Kevin Cobb in the flex (assuming no changes to the Matthews situation)?

I say Cobb until we know for sure what kind of shape Britt is in (his knee from last season) and what the Titans situation at QB is (with Locker's shoulder). We already know that GB/Rodgers is trying to put Cobb in favorable matchups all game long - Rodgers said so last week in the postgame.

I've got Stafford as a starter and Flacco on my bench. Should've swapped the two for the 1st game but I was fortunate and still came out on top. Now I'm debating starting Flacco against Philly's D rather than Stafford against the Niners. What do you guys think?

Actually i changed my mind. It seems that Greg Jennings is doubtful for tomorrow. If he doesn't play I start Cobb, otherwise Britt

I dont think you can go wrong with either. I would prolly go Flacco personally

I think I like spiller, dude is a beast. Last I heard today they said fjax could be out up to 8 weeks. Maybe 5 would be a conservative guess, that's still a lot, and he probably won't be 100% right away. Plus, Spiller will earn himself more touches. And spiller should outperform Gore for the next couple months at least, and by that time Gore might be done. Most people didn't think he had much left going into this year. He had a great week 1 but it's only been one week. Not sure I'd want that risk

What do you guys think about this for week 2?

Starting: Cam Newton, Julio Jones, Antonio Brown, Arian Foster, Darren Sproles, Antonio Gates, Tony Gonzalez, Matt Prater, Chi (D)
Bench: DHB, Big Ben, Jermaine Gresham, Santonio Holmes, Sidney Rice, Alfred Morris

vs.

Starting: Tom Brady, Percy Harvin, Eric Decker, DeMarco Murray, Trent Richardson, Michael Crabtree, Alex Henery, Houston (D)
Bench: MJD, Demariyus Thomas, Kenny Britt, Jared Cook, Rashad Jennings, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Stephen Hill

Question 1: Should I make any changes to my lineup?
Question 2: Assuming he has an optimal linuep, how do you guys fancy my chances of beating him?

I'd say I have a better chance?

Well, the guy accepted my trade proposal, I give Stevie Johnson and Donald Brown, and receive Brandon Marshall. Problem is the trade isn't going to go through for 2 days unless I (the comissioner) allow it through. That means he can have Marshall play tonight, then receive Stevie Johnson on Sunday morning and substitute him in for Sundays games. Basically, he'll have two players involved in the trade that end up scoring points for him this weekend. I wonder if I should just allow the trade to go through now, vs. waiting two days?

Can you get in touch with a "majority" of your league's players and poll them before tonight? Express the situation and mention this very fact, but also point out that you don't want to push the trade through just because you're the commish. I'm pretty sure they'll agree with you.

Hell, even if you could get maybe 3 or so onboard (including your trade partner?), if it were me I'd be okay with it.

I do that, the whole 2 day thing is nonsense. If a trade happened in the NFL, B Marsh would be on a plane to play with his team that same day

trade won't go through until all the players have played this week(if any of the players has already played)

Damn you Brandon Marshall! While I realize you didn't have many targets, you should have at least caught that TD  At least the guy I'm playing has James Jones and Finley 😀

Brandon Marshall week 1 = 9 rec, 119 yds, 1TD
Brandon Marshall week 2 = 2 rec, 24 yds

In other news, I hate fantasy football.

Opinions? Is VJax better bench bait than any of: Boldin or Blackmon?

My other WRs: Cruz, Dez Bryant, Eric Decker, Reggie Wayne, Demaryius Thomas. One of these guys will spend time on the bench depending on matchups - still trying to figure out who the more consistent between Decker and Thomas is going to be, but with Peyton at the helm I can see BOTH of them getting 10+ points every game (PPR league).

Team format is 3 WR + WRT flex, so potentially 4 WRs can play any week.

Someone dropped VJax for Ogletree this week and he's currently sitting cleared on waivers. I can either swap out or drop one of the 2 DST's I'm carrying to stash and dash, but I honestly can't see carrying 8 WRs with this kind of depth other than to play keep-away.

how many teams in the league? If it's at least 10 I'd say grab him. Definitely drop a defense but I'd probably rather have him over boldin too. Over blackmon too but might wanna hold him for the upside

Only 8 teams, so waiver depth is pretty ridiculous. That's why I'm not too concerned. Remember, this is also the same league where Rivers was dropped for Sanchez - so it's not exactly like we're working with rocket scientists here.

DST's are NYG and SF, I'm leaning towards keeping SF given the Giants injury issues in their secondary.
