Thing about Brees, even on an off day he will put up decent production. 49ers defense is very tough, I have him starting in my main league and he came out ok (21 pts, 5 pts per touchdown pass). If you sit Brees you got balls.

i make the playoffs every year... not sure what's gonna happen in my espn league, though... i'll be lucky to get in, i think. if all goes according to plan and i have good weeks, i'll be in.

i take it back... didn't make it to the playoffs in 2006 or 2008. went back and checked.

i started playing fantasy football on yahoo in 2005, apparently... which is odd, because i remember playing fantasy football for the first time my freshman year in college, which was in 2001... hmm...

But his little plan no losing for waivers.... Just iffy.

He was wrong on my morris for Trent Richardson trade tho. I'm loving Trent pair with foster a lot better then morris/foster. Aside from that, all ur suggestions were good for me. Gotta look up defense matchups cause I gotta drop Arizona

if you're in a ppr league, richardson is the right choice over morris. however, morris had two terrible games before the buy, which ruined his production. i think they both would have been on par with each other and i think they will have nearly the same number of points at the end of the season. i think richardson will end up on top because he's playing in the afc and the remainder of the defenses he plays suck cock.

Damn sure glad I decided to start Julio this week. Love that dude. I had a weak WR4, so I took a shot with Plaxico. That was just embarrassing, but he was benched obviously.

I'm dropping him for Mohamed Sanu. any thoughts on him? (Again, I'm in a 16 team PPR ESPN league, so waiver wire pickins' are slim. I am in the playoffs though, and Sanu seems like a gamble that could pay off).

Oh yeah I'd totally get him in a 16 team league. Wouldn't want to rely on him as a starter but you'll take what you can get in those deep leagues.

Trade proposal I'm unsure of:

Drew Brees for AJ Greene.

Details -
this is my ultra keeper dynasty league, so I generally don't want to trade my young guy, who's looking like a multi year all pro (Green) for an older guy, who might even be past his peak.

On the other hand, I might be a QB away from winning the league, even without Green - I've practically locked up a playoff spot. Current QBs are C Newton, Romo, Roethlisberger, and Bradford. (we have large rosters, it's a crazy league).

Also should I just straight up drop Brandon Lloyd for another W/TE? We have a short bench (4 spots). It's a ppr league, my team currently

It's just that both Newton and Romo have fairly easy schedules coming up. Sure, they're both capable of having a single-digit meltdown and Brees is basically good for 15+ points every game. But the same could be said of other WRs vs. AJ Green.

Replacements for Green would be decent, but a step down (who isn't? 😛 ) Miles Austin, Roddy White, similar. It's the age thing that really bugs me, especially if I don't win out. And Brees certainly doesn't guarantee that.

Only if they secure the #1 seed but they still need to beat the Patriots week 14. The way their defense has been playing recently the #1 seed is certainly no guarantee.

We could know as early as week 14 but that is unlikely. It would require them to beat the Patriots & Titans to go to 12-1, the Ravens losing both games and both the Broncos and Colts losing one of their 2 next games. Just beating the Patriots on the Road is a tall order for the Texans and the Ravens are facing the injured Steelers at home next game.
