Fuck yourself.

All good things have to end

This is a close game.

Good stuff

Refs have missed one obvious delay of game that would have given us a pp but other than that have called a much better game. Thanks refs for not missing some of the obvious ones

Called it.

Hope this win can spark some confidence and turn our season around. We're mostly healthy now. Got landeskog back and EJ back after concussions. Downie is out for the season but otherwise healthier than weve been all year. So nice to have RoR back too. San Jose next.

I think beating the unbeatable is just the kind of thing that can change around a season as short as this one.

On the other side im calling a streak of losses for the BlackCocks. They will be lost without Sharpie and get beat in 6 or more of their next 10. Detroit next? Guaranteed loss and the first of many more. They'll still easily make the playoffs and get some mojo back after Sharp comes back but it will be fun to see what happens.

Suter is heading back to Nashville for the first time since stabbing the Preds in the back last July. Should be a fun night to be at a hockey game. 😉

Sharp hasn't exactly been a fire starter this year. He won't be missed as much as you think. This team is deeper than their 2010 team, which is downright scary.

We'll see. They just had way too much help from the Hockey Gods during that streak. Too many bounces went their way during it. Those kind of streaks don't happen for a reason, because the Hawks basically were winning the Lotto during several of those wins. I'd say every game I watched I started to see more and more of it leading into Colorado on Wednesday night which they would have lost if only two obvious calls had been called. Or my opinion at least.

Things are bound to turn around and you will be surprised how many bounces can start going the other way and leading to losses. Also, Sharp is easily your 2nd best forward after Toews, a lot of fans just don't realize how good he is defensively and so the flair isn't there like it is with Kane. My opinion again but I still think things are just as likely to turn now as not, hockey god bounces just go that way. Even the best teams in history never had streaks like that and I'm sorry, as good as the Hawks are, they're not as good as their record suggests.

We'll see, I will have fun watching either way

And Habs sweep the Florida teams this weekend. They have been playing well and are in 1st, but the Bruins are also playing well and have a lot of games in hand. It will now switch where the Habs will get more rest and the Bruins will start playing a lot of back to back games. It didn't seem to hurt Montreal's resuls so I doubt the extra games will impact the Bruins that much.

LOL wild game against the Hawks...Chicago gets a nice two-game losing stream going 😀

Cant believe they came back after it was 5 to nothin but they still lost. I called it folks. Watch this losing streak be just as epic as the winning streak was. I say they lose 4 in a row here and at least 6 of the 10 games after the streak was ended in Denver.

Mamamamamamama Matt Duuuuuchene with .2 sex left.

Duchene is crazy hot right now. 4 pts on friday night. Tonight is 2 goals with the gwg.

Everything is going according to plan. Muwahahahaha

Good god, you have quite the hard-on for the Hawks. I don't even see the Wings or Canucks fans do this. Did they touch you in your no-no place?

I actually like the Hawks. Just got sick of everyone talking about how good they are in this streak. And i actually think they deserve a lot of that streak and i think it was awesome for the most part. I was just happy to see it end especially after the refs stole the first of the home at homes fro the Avs.

And im not hating on the Hawks. I genuinely believe they will go on a losing streak. How long have u been watching hockey? As someone who watched it his whole life, i know how these things go. Ups and downs of a hockey season. Bounces from the hockey gods. It was just a matter of time. And i love being right too. 😉

And the only teams i genuinely hate are the red wings, patriots and maybe the cowboys. 😛

Oh and the canucks. And also the red sox and yankees. And the lakers.

But thats about it......

That's fair. Just didn't know where it was coming from. Enjoy the Avs winning!

They say "you're in the playoffs at Thanksgiving" which during normal 82 game seasons, usually holds true. The only team who made it in last year that wasn't already in at Thanksgiving was LA, which had an incredibly drastic mid season turn around. (with MN being the team that fell out)

Thanksgiving is usually 1/4 of the way through the season, now we are half way through. The only teams who aren't in now and can still make it are the ones who are in within a couple of points with games in hand.

If there were a Godwin rule for sports threads it would be

"you sound like a typical [insert team/city here] fan"

If you were to make it more specific to hockey, it's some variation of:

"how long have you been watching hockey" or "You must not watch a lot of hockey"

Damn, 6 points separate 13 teams in the west. A three game losing streak could send you from 3rd place to dead last. No place for a nervous person.

Pens were able to pull one out. keeping boston from getting shots on goal helps, as it's only time before the pens get one to the back of the net.

What, Oilers win two in a row? Unreal.

Solid win against the Avs last night...but can they continue to win against better teams? I have severe doubts...

Yup, one mistake against all that firepower and the Pens made 'em pay. After that first one it was all over but the crying in spite of Khudobin's best efforts.

Back at it Sunday...
