And the Blackhawks continue to roll. Set a franchise record for consecutive wins last night with 10.
Friday is the halfway point in the season. Sure would be nice to get there without a regulation loss.

Is MTL the first to 20k?

Nice goal by Fehr... Bruins went to sleep in that second period..2 pts!
Boston's failure to play 60 minutes is becoming an issue.

Looks like Habs & Caps have found a flaw in Bruins normally suffocating D Zone coverage... teams are buzzing around the Bruin goal without repercussions. Rask got pummeled a few times last night (fuck you, Ovi), and when he wasn't being trampled there was traffic, and lots of it. That little kid on Montreal, Gallagher was all over Rask on Sunday and didn't pay a price.

The Bruins have a slower set of defenders that supposedly pride themselves on physical play. In fact, it's their bread and butter. Where is it?

(fuck you, Ovi)

Haha I watched all 3 collisions and he just went in there with reckless abandon. Sometimes I wonder if other teams think of him as a bully. God knows they complain about him like he is one.

BTW, nice assist Ovi. First you knock it out of mid-air then pass it while in the slot when everyone expected a shot. He still needs more fire in his eyes but at least he's changing his game. Lots of good rushes from the RW.

And Marchand is still a little prick. Nice late hit after the horn he tried to pass off as finishing his check.

The man is built like a linebacker, it'd be a damn shame if he didn't throw his body around.

Looks like the Canucks won't get their 3rd straight President's Trophy this year. However, this might not be bad as the Canucks usually come on very strong in the second half of the season. With this one being shortened, they may peak just at the right time.

Yup, Chara, Seidenberg, or McQuaid had no retaliation lined up for those bowling ball runs. None...

Playing in one of the weakest divisions in hockey certainly helps their chances.

And so the streak(s) continue.
The injury bug has finally hit Chicago though. Sharp will probably be out a few weeks. Hopefully Shaw and Hossa are back in the lineup tomorrow. Nice little break after Sunday's game with nothing until the following Thursday.

What do the Hawks do with Montador though? Rozsival and Brookbank are playing well, and I'd rather have both/either of them over him.

I wonder how many teams have female ice cleaning crews? Devils don't. I wish Lou would get rid of the trashy Devils Dancers and give us a female ice crew instead.
The bruins don't have a female ice crew either and I'm glad.

Those wenches shoot T-Shirts and Chipotle burritos into the stands during intermissions. Ugh...

realignment agreed to by players:

http://www.thehockeynews.com/articl...eed-to-realignment-board-still-has-to-OK.html

The Eastern Conference would look like this:

Atlantic Division:
Carolina, Columbus, New Jersey, New York Islanders, New York Rangers, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Washington.

Central Division:
Boston, Buffalo, Detroit, Florida, Montreal, Ottawa, Tampa Bay, Toronto.

The Western Conference would shape up this way:

Midwest Division:
Chicago, Colorado, Dallas, Minnesota, Nashville, St. Louis, Winnipeg.

Pacific Division:
Anaheim, Calgary, Edmonton, Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Jose, Vancouver.

That means 16 teams in the East and 14 in the West.

Top three teams from each conference would advance to the playoffs along with the next two teams in the conference with the most points.

sort of weird, sort of ok. columbus being in the atlantic, and the florida teams getting the shaft kinda sucks for those teams.

I'm not in love with it either but the popular chatter is that they'll tweak it up in a season or two.

Boston looked better in last night's win against Toronto but they have to keep improving and stay healthy.

Screw the Black(obvious word that rhymes with Hawks and is cock's!!)

Dave Bolland has an immunity to getting penalties so he gets off on two calls that go the Cocks way and the Avs suffer for it as usual. Refs win yet another game for them.

But congrats, this run is epic and they do deserve it for the most part. Still, that was very hard to watch as an Avs fan.

Streak ends tonight in Denver bitches!!!!!!!!!
