Ottawa's screwed.

I feel terrible for Karlsson. That kid's got mad skills.

Those Kevlar® aramid fiber socks/protector thingos... why isn't everyone wearing them? Would they have prevented that injury?

good question. karlsson is super talented though. I was watching the game and really didnt want to see that happen to him. he's extremely fun to watch, one of the most fun to watch guys in the game imo

Man it must be so frustrating to be a Flyers fan right now. Scoring 3 goals in 2 minutes to go up 3-1 and then losing 5-3 (with an empty netter).

I think it's frustrating to be a Philly fan in any sport:

Flyers
Eagles
Sixers
Phillies

Holy Shit.

Sabres take out the Bruins nicely tonight.

Chicago looks unstoppable 😱

Philly finds a way to lose

Ducks have been hot...but will it last?

What's even more scary about Chicago is their schedule is front loaded...towards the end of the season they don't have too many back to back games and will have time to rest. With Coach Q rolling 4 lines on a nightly basis it will be very hard for teams to keep up.

Habs win 4-1 over the Flyers and really were in control all game. No 3rd period collapse again. Price was out with the flu, and Budaj played much better than his last outing.

Tavares is a beast. Dude reminds me of a Yzerman or Sakic like player. If he had any type of help his team would be a threat

Edit: lol Avs

FFS Wings can you please hold onto the lead.

Wings are such a lazy team. They sit on leads, they don't wake up for games they are supposed to win, which is why they end up losing them.

They do however show up for rivals or big games (at least when the roster is healthy)

I though they outplayed Chicago through regulation, and CHI was lucky to escpape with an OT win. But then they turn around and lose to Columbus and Calgary, the two weakest teams in the west.

Just gotta hope they are hungry and healthy come playoff time, and all will be ok.

You are assuming they will make the playoffs.

Ryan Kesler right back into mid-season diving form. Between him and Miller it's gonna be tough to root for Team USA in Sochi.

Forslund and Tracy ballwashing Joe Corvo & Dave Lewis... bahahahaha!

Setting the bar low in Whalercaneville.

Habs play thier back-up goalie and win 3-0 agains the Hurricanes.

I missed the game as I was in a meeting this morning, but from the highlights it looked like the Habs were somehat outplayed until the third, but the Canes couldn't score.

And apparently the third goal was supposed to be a dump in.

The puck took a strange bounce and went in. There are a few of those that happen every year. That is why goalie coaches always teach getting your whole body in the way of those type of shots, but it is often just bad luck.

How many nut shot videos does Giroux have on Youtube? Crosby?

I'd love to have someone with Crosby's skill on our team, but I wouldn't want it to be Sidney Crosby. Every cheap shot would make me cringe. I couldn't defend the guy, I'd just have to put up with other team's fans' justifiable hate.

Giroux seems like a good guy. Flyers are obviously one of my two least favorite teams, but I can't hate Giroux.

Montreal wins another close game, this time 3-1 vs. the Rangers. A seeing eye goal into the empty net during a penalty kill made it 3-1, and a very nice goal by their rookie Gally that was set up by Eller. That is 5 in a row by the Habs.
