About 4 minutes in the fourth with james on the bench and you'e letting them expand the lead, not good.

Now best of three. Even with more rest, think its going to be hardest on the spurs to pull it off.

Imagine that, heat decided to play some defense today.

Spurs weren't ready to make the 'extra pass'. Even Duncan needs to do it as they swarm the ball in the paint. Splitter is way too slow to be a playmaker and brings the ball down too low when near the basket.

Very little help from the spurs bench as they didn't know what to do with that kind of pressure. Hopefully manu hasn't already peaked in the series because it will be very difficult to win if the heat play this kind of defense and he can't contribute. One game in SA, but up to 2 in miami.

This was the first game in the playoffs where Miami's big three actually played like a nucleus deserving of the moniker. San Antonio was right there for most of the game, but they completely fell apart late in the third, seeming to forget what makes their offense so efficient and daring Wade and LeBron into taking uncontested jumpers, which they're invariably going to start hitting. I hope Ginobili can play like something resembling his former self, but now that he's got a reputation as a flopper, he's not getting a single call that he's used to getting, and it's destroyed his game (that and his atrocious shooting). The Spurs have proven they can win without Manu playing well, but when Miami plays like that, you need everyone to play well if you want to beat them, and Ginobili's just been a liability.

Agreed.

Spurs beat themselves with poor rebounding and turnovers.

No amount of improvement tonight would have matter, they won't win when James, Wade & Bosh play like they did tonight. Realistically the best the Spurs could have possibly done tonight was lose by less. They better pray to god that Wade doesn't play like this over the next 2 games or it's over.

The Pacers had a crazy amount of Turnovers against the Heat, too. At some point Miami should get credit for creating lots of turnovers. Can equally blame the Spurs too, though I suppose.

When the Heat score triple digits this season they are 57-2. Really gotta slow them down.

Glad this is a series again! It was really looking to favor the Spurs after game 3. It would be nice to have it come down to the end again like Game 1. I bet another close game is due in the immediate future.

Duncan/manu age (along with parker injury) finally starting to show itself. Spurs must win next game as there is no way they'll take back to back in miami.

these finals have kind of sucked. we had 1 good game. the other were good for like 1/2 or 3/4 of the game then turned into blowouts. i just hope they go to 7 games because after the nba, we're stuck with mlb till football season...

Big three finally deserving of their name last night. And yeah, Ginobli looked awful. Made poor passes, took poor shots almost every opportunity he had. I also feel like Splitter is an offensive liability [in this series], when he gets the ball it seems to lead to a turnover more often than not. He'd almost be better off shooting and missing than gifting the Heat those invigorating blocks imo.

Also Boris Diaw looks chubby as hell, I was a little surprised he made up and down the court lol.

I couldn't believe the big 3 (of Miami) were hitting jumpers. It was like the regular season all over again.
Once they got up by 10 or so, everything just kept going in.
Once they have a 10 point buffer, they relax and drain shot after shot.

When they are neck and neck, they seem to miss a lot.

if both teams played their best it would be a 4-1 series.

SAN ANTONIO -- Spurs guard Tony Parker says his sore right hamstring can tear "any time now" heading into Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Miami Heat.

Parker said Saturday he would take about 10 days to rest if this were the regular season. But with the series tied 2-all heading into San Antonio's final home game Sunday, the All-Star says, "If it gets a tear, that's life."

Parker strained the hamstring in a Game 3 blowout victory for the Spurs. He returned with a dazzling start in Game 4 on Thursday night, only to not score in the second half. Parker says he grew tired as the Heat pulled away to reclaim home-court advantage.

Despite the blunt assessment of his hamstring, Parker says he feels he's getting stronger.

Even though I'm not a Spurs fan I think Parker and Ginobli will have a big bounce back game tonight. But I hope not :D

Scoring is key for the Heat. Like I said earlier, the Heat are 57-2 when scoring triple digits.

Two words, Ray Allen. When he 1st left Boston like most Celtics fan I was stupidly pissed at him. I cursed his name for a solid month, but I ended up getting over it, and now I'm pulling for him. He's still one of the best pure shooters in the league, even if he's not as good as he use to be.

Seems to me like Ray Allen would be the least likable player on the Heat but he's not even close in the eye of the public. Instead of taking 12 mill to stay in Boston, he took 6 mill to go play with Boston's big competitor/rival. So weasely! But that's just one perspective. I don't have much opinion on Ray Allen one way or another, other than of course he's one of the best shooters of all time and He Got Game is a great movie :)

I have heard of sports radio that Boston was looking to trade him. That was one of the reasons he left.

I'm not familiar with the situation.

He didn't leave a Celtics team that was begging him to stay, there was a lot of inner team beef and he pretty much had to go. But the Heat? The same team that because of a ref STOLE from us a win that would have have put us in the finals, which we would have easily dominated. HOW COULD HE? I make light of it, but I serious think without that shit call on Rondo we would have went on to win the finals :(

Any other team besides the Heat or the Lakers is cool, but he hit us below the belt. I don't blame him for leaving, he had to. But the Heat UGHS! That's why it'll be bittersweet to see him win a ring this year.

But with all the Celtics rumors, he appeared to get out in the nick of time.

Man, if the Cheaters win again this year, I'm gonna stop watching NBA all together until Stern steps down as commish. So much BS. You wanna make the players stop flopping? Fine them 500K per incident.

God that was such a blatant clothesline on Rondo from Wade.
