wow Green and Neal.. totally overshadowing Mike Miller's performance (why didn't they go to him more?)

I wonder if LBJ is getting dejavu of his CLE days (specifically the 07 finals)?

I think they basically took miller out of the game by attacking his poor defense, and the spurs went on a huge run. Not that it was all his fault, and it was partially bad timing that required a better defensive presence.

"History" is history. Miami lost game one but won't be going on a 4 game win streak this time. 🙂

Spurs had 19 offensive rebounds to 9 for miami. They also had 16 3-pointers, miami had 8. Subtract the spurs extra 8 3pt'ers, they still win big.

The Spurs doing the 7 Nation Army chant at the end was ...

Poor taste?
Awesome?
Epic?

Mixed feelings, I tend to think we have a pretty good, classy fanbase (outside of me guys, duh) but this was poor sportsmanship.

as i said, heat are nothing without lebron james. lebron james didn't show up today, and it showed, but he was in the uniform. Don't try to tell me this heat team would get anywhere near the playoffs 8th seed without LBJ on it. I hope you say the "other 2 HOFers" are wade and allen, bosh is ordinary, his redeeming quality is being a 7ft modern dinosaur relic.

this isn't a "stop the presses", it's cleveland 2.0.

please explain...did the team do this on the bench and if so when, and why would it be disrespectful?

remember, you're watching a fairly crippled wade. He had a decent game 2, but he's not able to dominate muchless string a few good games together in a row. Scoring wise, he's been far more clutch and 'go-to' in the past when healthy, and defensively he's been able to create some chaos on his own, not seen much here.

he always has a fucking excuse. that's why he says nothing when the reporters ask him what's wrong.

remember he went out in a wheelchair with an elbow injury. wade is looking small. i said this earlier, he has no old man game, no reliable jumper. his career is extended by playing with one of the greatest regular season players the game has seen.

with all the sliding and offensive flopping wade does that is pretty much going to see itself to an end in the next season or two, nail in his coffin of being "elite" anymore.

pop illegally rests his 3 players in the regular season while heat go on their 44-3 run, which is catching up to them in the finals. patriots 18-1.

whatever, this isn't near the wade of 2012 (or earlier of course) on the court and it's because he's not healthy. I've never seen him struggle with his shot and then not attack the sh!t out of the defense. But he's obviously not able to have a scorer's mentality out there, which is not his game.

Is Parker's hamstring ok? That's pretty scary.. eeeeeeeek

Yeah, if Parker's actually injured, this could prove a Pyrrhic victory for the Spurs. Still an absolutely dominating performance from San Antonio. I'm curious how Miami responds. If they come out angry in Game 4, that could play right into the Spurs' hands; get them out of their comfort zone.

his game is being injured. have you watched wade in his career? don't cover for this kid anymore. he's old. old elite players will show flashes of brilliance, unless you're a kobe bryant. wade is not in that league.

he gets injured due to his style of play. wade is a scottie pippen (and not as good). he's only 31 and his injuries make him seem 35.

Well this part is true, he plays a very aggressive attacking style game and has paid the price. But I have to assume he's in need of surgery or something like that, and this level of dropoff is too extreme and not just his career taking a toll. Only pain would keep a player like wade from attacking.

I thought Duncan was done roughly 4 years ago, but he was simply playing with a very bad ankle or two and couldn't jump. I think the same type of thing is going on with wade...he's got a lot more in the tank but it's not his year.

parker has hamstring injury, MRI at 10:00 AM tomorrow, looks like he might be out for the season or atleast a game or 2. Wont be 100% anyways... looks like Spurs are done...

He said "the spurs" and I took it as the players doing it, lol.

Trolling the heat fans is bad? Woah, let's keep it in perspective.

600x400

I think everyone outside of Miami would have picked the Spurs to win this game, but no one had them being up by 30+points! It was a massacre.

Does Lebron have to carry the team?

Nope, if they played like they did in game 2 they could maybe even win without him. Bosh needs to step up, and Miller, Birdman & Allen all have to play. Tonight every player just sucked, not sure what was the cause. But I don't suspect they'll allow it to happen again. Crazy how different they looked tonight compared to the last game. With the talent they have, they don't even need to play as well as game 2, they just need to play far better than they did tonight and they can still take it. And it wasn't even a case of SA playing craze defense, Miami literally lost the game all by themselves tonight.

I'm still laughing at the person who said Wade isn't as good as Pippen, only on ATOT. I shouldn't be surprised though, I mean hell Rodman said that James shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Pippen. It's hilarious how the Miami hate is so strong it makes people unable to say reasonable shit.

Wade in 2006 was one of the most electric players in the league. He was averaging almost 30 points a game, was absolutely fearless, and could get a shot anywhere on the court at almost any time. Wade in 2013 is a hollow shell of his former self. The only time he's working close to the rim is cutting in off a low post pass from Lebron. Defenders have finally wised up to his pump fake and he's not getting to the line drawing a defender into jumping into him. He doesn't seem to have the ability to get separation reliably and his jump shot is coming in short. He's truly just an average player at this point. And a liability on defense.
