was ray allen such a whiny bitch when he was on the Celtics? I really can't remember, I just see everyone cry when they have a Heat uni on.

Birdman is killing everyone.

Pacers need to slow the heat down or this game is over. 52 with 4 and a half minutes to go, going to score 70+ in the half

been watching the race, turned it over for a moment and see Miami making pacers regret winning game 2.

well pacers are playing well too, 1st quarter was 34-30. Both teams hitting everything. Miami continued the hot pace in the 2Q.

Like I said earlier, Previous two games Miami was only firing on 4/6 clinders. This is more of what they are capable of. TO's are down, threes are up and everone is contributing.

And the other thing I said was that Indy needed to attack more. What got them back in this second half? Attacking on the last several transitions. They've racked up some critically important fouls on Miami - Bosh has 4 now.

Dude miami doesn't play this well "firing on all 6 cylinders", all season. They haven't had 70 points in a half, all season. They're firing over 6 cylinders with turbo, so you can stop cutting them so much slack.

Firing at 6 cylinders, Indy can catch them.

Who was the poster that posted the Heat were the 2nd best team left in the playoffs? Message me your address so I could send you some glasses. I know there is a lot of Heat hate on this board. But saying the same team who is like 48-4 (not sure of the exact recrd) and had a 27 game winning streak and who is 10-2 in the playoffs is 2nd best is absurd....really.

So, is miami going to suck but win the first game in the finals, lose the second game, then blow the spurs out in the third?

Nah...if the Heat advance which they should barring injury...the series vs the Spurs will bea great one. Spurs are an outstanding experienced team....thatsfor sure...but the Heat will win it....

They will beat the Spurs like they beat OKC last year. imho the only chance the Spurs have is Wade being unable to play. And even without Wade it's still too close to call

Very revealing quote from Shane Battier at the end of this one, from the NYT:

“It’s just maturity,” Battier said. “We’ve got a lot of old guys in this locker room. When we lose a game, we usually understand why.”

...When we lose a game, we understand why.

The Heat remind me a little bit of the 2001-2002 Detroit Red Wings. That team had:

Brendan Shanahan, Chris Chelios, Igor Larionov, Sergei Fedorov, Brett Hull, Niklas Lidstrom, Steve Yzerman, Luc Robitaille... I mean, are you kidding me? Forget the talent for a second, that's eight, count em EIGHT legitimate captains on that team.

As an aside: If that wasn't enough they were coached by Scottie Bowman, had Dominik Hasek as their goaltender, and I think that was Pavel Datsyuk's rookie year. lol.

When a big steps out and makes his jumpers, it's dangerous, and haslem was deadly. But the real killer seemed to be James on the low block early in the possessions. He's gotten real good at knowing what he needs to do there and executing, particularly when single-teamed. The heat got tremendous contributions from most everyone in that game.

The playoffs are all about adjustments to adjustments.

I'm not sure what the adjustment is when Lebron decides he's going to operate in the post.

You double team. Fucking ridiculous to let LeBron operate against George in the paint without the double. Lebron is just a mismatch regardless anyways. They need to double and hope that the shooters miss. Good luck with that. Ray Allen has made a career of shooting the ball with deadly accuracy.

SA with the sweep!!!

I thought this would be a six game series. Gasol and Randolph disappeared this series.

LeBron James and Tony Parker are the best players in the playoffs.
