PPR = points per reception

Oh, duh. yes, we get points, but it's now 0.5 points, I think. Used to be 1 PPR, and half of the league ignored WR for a few seasons, then they became the 1ts round pics, hehe.

still, I would think Sproles is better than White for PPR, no?

Yes, hands down. Well, only if you're Roddy White because Ryan is passing the ball to JJones!

I'm just mad that I didn't draft Sproles--not sure why this guy traded him away.

Oh, and the trade was accepted on Monday, it went through yesterday. I never noticed it being accepted.
I've got plenty of useless WR that I depend on --Nate Washington, Jason Hil, and now Devin Hester. All of these guys are better than White. ...Only wish I knew that this guy would dump Sproles for a song.

:hmm:

lol. just checked the scoreboard, and I'm playing the dude that gave away Sproles yesterday. I'm already talking shit.

here is what he has:

RB:
Mendenhall
B. Jacobs
S. Jackson

WR:
Santonio Holmes
S. Rice
John Baldwin

--Roddy White is currently on his bench...

Wow, I'm off - he didn't have a single rushing TD. My bad. But wow, is his passing accuracy terrible, sub-50%!

scary. his rushing yardage has been crazy high though, especially last week. they started giving him the read-option last week right? giving him the comfort and ability to run whenever he wants should hopefully help his passing game. we'll see how much the rushing can make up for the poor accuracy though. the system seemed to help mcgahee also. I'll be starting both of them unless jahvid best grows a new head

Tebow has a problem in that a lot of the NFL doesn't respect him, and actually target him. I have no doubt that the way those Lions players were talking about him is true, and I've heard commentators question Tebow about how he finishes runs, that he's opening himself up to injury.

can start 3 WR's.
what would you guys pick?

Steve Smith
Hakeem Nicks
Dez Bryant
Julio Jones
Antonio Brown

If i went with the big names, it'd be Smith, Nicks, and Bryant. But Nicks is coming off injury, and Bryant hasn't even had a 100 game yet. Jones and Brown have had some really impressive weeks.

Smith
Jones
Bryant

Nicks - injury
Brown - facing tough D

Jones, Bryant and Nicks. If Nicks isn't active, Steve Smith of the Carolina variety.

Speaking of WRs...

Cruz, Robinson, DeSean Jackson, Sidney Rice and Jacoby Ford...

Pick 3 in order of preference.

Steve Smith is #1
Julio might be another pick since Nicks is banged up and Dez has been inconsistent.
For the third guy, I'd probably go with Dez since Miles is out

Landed Cam Newton in a trade. Basicaly gave up Larry Fitzgerald for him. Also packaged Reggie Bush (got off waivers two weeks ago) and Fitzpatrick in the deal to make it look better.

That leaves me with the best scoring QB in the league, the best WR (Megatron), two of the top three or four RB's (McCoy & Jackson), and Owen Daniels at TE. I'm still sitting on Nicks & Cruz for my other WR's. Trying to make a push for first place and needed help at QB.

Heath Miller @Cincinnati or Dustin Keller vs the Pats?

I think the Bengals D has been fairly good this season. While the Pat's D is bad they are going to do everything within their power to make life miserable for Sanchez.

Also, Hasselbeck @ Carolina or Tebow at KC? Hasselbeck has been pretty consistent ~25 pts a week, but I don't know anything about KC or Carolina.

I hear its going to be extremely windy in cin, so I would prefer heath for the short routes.

Hasselback cuz Tebow sux

If it matters I'm in lousiville and the wind is out of this world with the same in cinci - 25-30 MPH steady with bursts to 40-45. It will be a factor.

-edit-
I had to pick Matt Ryan or QB Dalton at Cinci, I went with Ryan. It was a coin toss, but the weather wind pushed me to Ryan.

Thanks for making my decision easy DeSean Jackson - being a healthy scratch today makes putting you on my BENCH this week a no brainer. Asshole.

I'm having problems deciding this week in one of my flex spots. Fred Davis or Brandon Jacobs in a non ppr league. Thoughts?

I just give up...my team's been messed up all season. Today I had to choose between Branch, Doucet, Laurent Robinson, or Julio Jones (injured). Everybody else sucks too but I'll inevitably be shown that I make horrible choices. 😛
