OK, someone is gonna have to explain to me why the Browns were picked up in over 20% of ESPN leagues this week even though they play the 49ers IN San Francisco. Forget the fact that one team is awful and the other on an upswing, it's an east coast timezone team going west AND the Niners are coming off a bye week.. I must be missing something with the match-up here, right?

Only thing I can think of is most of those people have the Bears, Packers, and Jets defences, needed a bye week fill-in, and don't trust the 49ers offence? I looked at them myself in one league, but found another team I like more. It's kind of slim pickings out there right now.

People saw what the Browns D did to the Seahawks and assume it means they're good. The 49ers are not the Seahawks.

Browns are 4th in total YPG. They are 4th in points on my WW right now, but 2 of the ones in front have had a bye and the other plays Phi. And I'm sure most haven't WATCHED the browns play.

I wouldn't do that trade Crono. You're getting rid of the better QB, WR, and RB in the trade.

i need WR help.

sidney rice
andre
reggie wayne
b. lloyd
greg little
d. Bess

need to start 3. Andre is still not 100% no confirmation of him playing. Lloyd... worth a shot. Wayne... has been such a huge waste of my time but i always think he will have a big game and haven't sat him yet.

this is non PPR. Have gaffney, antiono brown that i can pick up

Thinking of doing the common sense of going andre, lloyd and wayne. I do think rice and little could have good games pending on the QB

I'd grab Brown and start him. I really think he lights it up this week. Crappy NE pass defense + Ward out + Ben throwing very well right now = fantasy jackpot. I have Wallace and am actually a little worried Brown will steal some of his thunder.

I'd go Johnson, Lloyd and Brown. If Johnson is out, I'd have to look at the matchups for the other players (can't do it at work).

I have McFadden on bye and I'm planning on starting Brandon Jacobs. Or should I pick up Pierre Thomas instead? Doesnt seem like Jacobs will get many carries.

Hi folks, I'm in a 12 team roto 2QB league, with scoring mostly standard (10yds / 1pt RU/REC. 6pts/TD RU/REC, 25yds/pt PASS, 4pt PA TD) with some bonuses for big games or big plays (+2 for 100+ yds RU or REC, +2 350 yds passing, +2 for 40+yd plays, +2 for 4o+yd TDs). I have a dilemma as to who to drop off my roster (currently no K on roster). Only 4 bench slots in this league. Here's my roster:

QBs: Vick, Hasselbeck, Bradford
RBs: F. Jackson, Beanie Wells, L. McCoy, DeMarco Murray
WRs: Welker, AJ Green, Jordy Nelson
TEs: Graham
K: None
DEF: SF
Starting positions are QB / RB / WR / Flex / Flex / QB Flex (i.e.Flex or QB) / K / DEF.

Last week, I went without a K, as I had bye week issues, and picked up Murray and started him, luckily. I need to drop someone and pick up a K to get back to normal. Not sure who to drop - leaning towards Nelson, as he's on a bye, or possibly Beanie as he may be out for a bit. I could also drop Murray, as he may not be as good as he looked last week, and is filling in until Felix Jones gets back. But I'm fairly certain that whoever I drop will get snapped up by others in the league. Thoughts? TIA.

Easily Pierre Thomas.

Eh, barring any setbacks with his injury, Brandon Jacobs will be back in his usual 10-15 touches for ~50+ yards and redzone TD vulture duties.

Pierre Thomas's value hinges completely on the health of Mark Ingram at this point and how much Sproles is going to be used. There's usually a lot of touches to go around, and if you're in a PPR league that's great for PT, but still marginal value since Sproles and Ingram will get the bulk of the touches anyway.

He probably won't. With Ingram banged up, and a horrendous run D on tap in STL, I would go with PT.

This is true, it all depends on both teams' injury situations. Ask again tomorrow or saturday to get a better idea of who to start.

OK, just to make this simple...

PPR league.

Pick 1:

Maurice Morris (@DEN, 15th-ranked rush D)
C.J. Spiller (WSH, 7th-ranked rush D)
Ben Tate (JAX, 11th-ranked rush D)
Joseph Addai (@TEN, 28th-ranked rush D)
Alfonso Smith (@BAL, 1st-ranked rush D)

FANTASTIC CHOICES!

heh, I actually picked them up because I saw others picking them up. I thought they might know something I dont. I have the JETS D on BYE this week and needed to fill the slot. Only other D/ST available right now are the Chiefs, Seahawks, Pats, Panthers, Titans, and Broncos

Addai will probably be out due to injury, and Smith is probably out as he may not get all the carries and is facing the Ravens D. Ben Tate got a lot of work last week, but that was a blowout, though and Jacksonville's D has been better than expected. That leaves Spiller and MoMo. Spiller, according to reports, is being used as a wideout sometimes, increasing his snap count, and the stats from the last game in week 6 (where he caught 5 passes) seems to echo that, and would be valuable in a PPR league. Any rushes that he gets would be a bonus. MoMo on the other hand seems to have the starting job while Best is sidelined, although really he seemed to split snaps with Williams last week. I would go with one of those two, just don't really feel strongly about either one.

Thanks for the input.

I'm going with Spiller, I think. Williams will most likely vulture any TDs that Morris would have otherwise had. Spiller at least has big play potential and will probably get me ~5 receptions.

With the said list of WR, who has the least value here. So i can pick up brown.
Little, rice, Bess. seem to be the best/thrown to a lot on that team but a crappy team/QB is a crappy team/QB. While Bess is behind Marshall, he is getting the ball thrown to him more times then Marshall. Greg little gets a good amount of hits as well, but cant do much if the team only scores 2 FG the WHOLE game. Same with Rice but his team only was able to get 1FG. That killed last week so much because i started Rice, little, wayne. I just got lloyd on a trade this week.

OK now.. CJ has 1 yard on 5 carries right now against the Colts.. I'm just about done thinking these are just off games for him, he'll have maybe 1 or 2 big games but it's pretty obvious he's post-MVP LT and Shaun Alexander at this point.

I'm gonna trade Chris Johnson for a Snickers bar. Won't get anything better for him at this point.
