Keep an eye on Arian Foster and consider starting Tate, even if Foster plays, Tate will probably get touches as they ease Foster back into the lineup.

well they *said* if foster plays, they won't be holding him back, but idk about that. Ingram will be alright I think, he's only played one game so far. But for now, I'd definitely play Tate ahead of him, if Foster is out. I might also go with ryan mathews if it's a ppr, or if tolbert isn't 100%. No way with grant

And another one - I agree with this totally. I forget the exact numbers, but the stats from last week were posted and showed Starks played something like 56 snaps to Grants 15 snaps.

Ingram has nothing but upside at this point. He got more work than Thomas, but Sproles and Thomas were more effective. I think Sean Peyton will keep giving a lot of snaps to Ingram though, probably for experience's sake.

Same issue as Greene. NO went in the hole early and abanded the bread and butter run/clock management plays that best play to Ingram. Thomas is the best pass blocking back they have and was in almost every pass play as another guy to defend the pass rush.

On our draft the 1st overall pick was Antonio Gates. Also in the first round someone picked up GB D/ST & Maques Colston lol. There were numerous very odd picks throughout the draft

Now this week guess who was dropped for some waiver wire pickups? Blount and CJ Spiller lol. I hope I can get both those guys off waivers tomorrow.

Hey guys, fantasy football greenhorn here with a question about running backs.

I'm not sure who to start as my second running back. First week I had Ryan Grant, but this week I decided to give Pierre Thomas a go. I mentioned it to my friend and he thinks Grant might be a better choice assuming the Packers dominate Carolina and end up running the ball a lot. Willis McGahee is also an option, but I don't know as much about his situation.

Btw, the projected stats are 7.90 for Thomas and 5.25 for grant (and actually 7.47 for McGahee).

I'm in a custom league so here's the relevant info.

.25 ppr
10 yards/point rushing, 2 bonus points at 100 yards
15 yards/point receiving, 2 bonus points at 100 yards
5 points rushing touchdown
3 points receiving touchdown

That depends, are you playing me? :sneaky: I don't think you're in the auction leagues though, are you. Thomas didn't get much work last week did he? I don't think Ingram did either, but plenty more than Thomas. Is it a ppr? Sproles might be a solid option again this week. Not much of a chance to score, but same with Thomas.

If no Hicks I'd go with Fitz, otherwise Eli. I don't trust the Redskins or Grossman even with a favorable matchup like that.

Tossup between Grossman and Fitz, they both played well last weekend. Arizona secondary is bad. I would start grossman just for the fact that its a home game

Sproles. He'll get more work no matter what. If the Saints get behind early, Sproles gets a lot of work out of the backfield. If the Saints go up early, he still gets used on 3rd downs and some second down work. Keep in mind that Coleston is out, which means even more (potential) targets for Sproles.

I think I'd put Boldin in the flex spot over Blount.

Trying to make up my mind over my RB#2 and Flex spots:

RBs: BJGE (SD), Ryan Mathews (@NE)
WRs: Plaxico Buress (JAC), Jabbar Gaffney (ARI), Hines Ward (SEA)

My reservations: Tough games for both RBs. I think Mathews get the slight edge here. I'm leaning towards Plaxico for the flex spot.

Looks like there is a decent chance of Foster playing. I have him too, my hopes rest on him also. Supposedly the coach all but said he will be playing.

If you didn't handcuff him with Ben Tate, you deserve to lose. His hamstring issues were well known and documented before the season ever started.

It will be a Sunday morning call - he will most likely play, but you should still check Sunday morning any way. Today is Friday in case you need a form of reference on when most D2D football injury decisions are made.

League 1:
QB: Roethlisberger or Fitzpatrick - Probably Roethlisberger, but I'm a big believer in Fitz
RB: Frank Gore, Beanie Wells, or BenJarvus Green-Ellis as my #2? Beanie is projected highest

League 2:
QB: Matt Ryan or a free agent (Chad Henne, Alex Smtih, Mark Sanchez, Ryan Fitzpatrick) - I don't have a lot of faith in Ryan against the Eagles secondary.
WR: Larry Fitzgerald, Reggie Wayne, Percy Harvin, Julio Jones, Plaxico Burress
RB: Chris Johnson, Felix Jones, Cedric Benson, Reggie Bush, James Starks

I need to pick 2 WR, 2 RB, and a WR/RB flex from all of those guys. I'm thinking Fitzgerald, Wayne, CJ, Benson, and Bush?
