I have him in 3 leagues for a reason.. :awe:

BTW, having third most points and having to face the team with the most points for the week just isn't fair.. lol

Better you than me I say. imagine how i'd feel with 2nd most points 😛 I know projections are nonsense but i'm projected to get within a point of Slayer. GOOO ROMO.

Actually... DON'T GET HURT ROMO!

Injuries to my team this year have been a complete JOKE!!!

First Charles...then Vick...now Britt....
It's like I'm reading about my own team. Fortunately, Jermichael Finley and Ryan Mathews had great games for me this week, so I still won.

With Austin and Bryant (?) out I'm leaning Grossman. And that made me sick to my stomach to say it.

Yeah you've got the same line of thinking as me. Those two out, Romo one hit away... wait I have to start Rex Grossman?

I remember winning a game a few years ago when my opponent had Grossman starting and was going into the game ahead of me in points and I had no one left to play. Grossman went on to throw something along the lines of 6 INTs and I won.

Maybe it was just 3... I don't have time to dig any further. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/recap?gameId=261203003 6/19 34 yds 3ints. Yeah talk about sucking.

woo hoo. played fuster in 2 of my 3 games this week, went 2-1 overall and 1-1 vs fuster. got crushed in one thanks to the cheatriots, and managed a couple point victory in the other. if austin comes back healthy after the bye for the remainder of the season, I think one of my teams will have a good chance of going deep.

Just a tad premature, don't you think SunnyD? I just got my first win in league #1, even though I've liked my team all along. Way too early to tell anything and the standings are all pretty even; only one or two unbeatens out there.

KT

It's never too early. I just know what depth I have on the team at this point, and I just don't have enough to make it through. There's not enough bench to make it happen, and barring a magical waiver pickup or two it just ain't gonna happen.

It's week three and no major waive wire dandy's to date. AJ Green and Fitzpatrick maybe count. But nothing of Hillis's and Lloyd's degree last year.

EDIT: I guess you could make an argument on Cam Newton.

Or what about Washington? I grabbed him week 2 off the WW in all the leagues I'm in.

Remains to be seen. Handcuffs and next in line guys don't always translate to the numbers of the guys they replaced.

I disagree, you'd be hardpressed to find a better WW pickup at WR. This could easily be the Brandon Lloyd of last year.

Coming from someone who actually watched that entire game, Hasselbeck threw just about every pass in Nate's direction after Britt went down. Its clear that will be his go to guy for the rest of the season if he stays healthy. Most likely.

Ironically Fitzmagic and Green were both gone in the draft.

Here is my current team.

QB Tom Brady
WR Greg Jennings
WR Dwayne Bowe
WR Percy Harvin
RB Michael Turner
RB Cedric Benson
TE Benjamin Watson
BN Fred Davis
BN BenJarvus Green-Ellis
BN Mark Ingram
BN Lance Moore
BN Thomas Jones
BN Matt Hasselbeck

Right now I have a waiver request in to drop Ben Watson and pick up the WR Torrey Smith from Baltimore, should I switch that to Nate Washington or is there another player you would also drop in order to get Washington?

I would drop Watson and pick up Washington. Torrey Smith is fast as fuck but last week was a fluke, I doubt it happens again.

tossed out two trades, think either one will yield success?

i give jacobs + djax for adrian foster

i give jacobs + djax for turner

Adrian Foster? I bet that dude kicks ass huh? Some kind of hybrid? Arian Peterson is probably pretty good too.

Michael Turner is going to blow this year, I just have a feeling.

He might, you never know who his competitors are. I've pulled off more then a few steals in my time.

Thomas Jones and Matt Ryan for Peyton Manning, last year.

I had bad luck this week. Lost Britt, accidentally started Hillis who had strep throat when I had LT and Stewart on the bench, started the wrong TE - Scheffler because I thought Pettigrew was hurt. Needless to say, I was low scorer for the week. To make matters worse, someone picked up Nate Washington off of waivers on Saturday so I don't even have a chance to pick him up to replace Britt. Only highlight is that I'm not in as bad of shape as the guy who lost Charles in our league. The bad thing about this league is that we have it set up so that the weekly losers pay like $4 apiece and it goes into a pot for the weekly high scorer.
