I'll be honest, I don't get to watch a lot of OKC games, and I agree that Westbrook takes *way* too many shots...but WhereTF is Durant? He's just invisible on offense half the time. He doesn't seem to come to the ball much on traps, on the *very* rare posession that OKC trys to post up he's not swinging around to play the in-out game. He just seems sort of lost and only really getting his hands on the ball when he brings it court in transition or when they reset a play at the top of the key.

Westbrook on the otherhand is indeed playing a huge amount of ISO ball and hogging a lot of posessions, but at least he's trying to make a play and getting to the foul line tonight.

I don't know if it's just a passive nature of Durant and not demanding the ball enough or if he's just getting that blanketed defensively.

WTH Westbrook? Why wait too late to get the last shot and a horrible one at that.

I actually don't really think that was westbrook's fault. No one on OKC did anything, WB didn't have a lane to drive, and the other four players were just standing around. I think they were expecting him to just do a one man Kobe show or something, by the time they shook out of their stupor it was too late.

OKC still hasn't extended Brooks. Maybe they bring in Phil? Imagine what OKC would look like if they played either offense or defense, or both! They only have one more year of Harden and Ibaka.

You gotta think that Phil is salivating at the opportunity. And secretly hoping that Miami just curb stomps OKC leaving Brooks looking like a chump. Walking in there with a core of Durant, Westbrook and ideally Ibaka along with a good supporting cast...yeah that team is setup for a three-peat the next three years.

I'm not sold on Harden at all. His true offensive skill obviously has crumbled in the big game and he's relying on acting to get everything else. And he has almost nothing going on the defensive end. Ibaka is a raw talent just begging for maturation and coaching. Scorers come easy in this league, two year shot blocking titles at that young of an age don't.

These guys getting a coach who knows how to run a team and get them into a ball moving offense and a half ass defense along with some more veteran guys are going to do some major damage for a long time to come.

Westbrook is horribly overrated by most and deserves every bit of the criticism he receives. Both on his decision making and his fashion sense.

Agree on Harden, he is a solid player but not that great. Whenever you have a big who can dominate on defense that is a rare commodity and you have to take it. Ibaka is exactly that. Throw in that you already have two good wing scorers in Durant and Westbrook and it should be a no brainer to keep Ibaka.

Seriously screw these refs. What are we watching? That intentional foul didn't even get called, this is absurd.

It's just asinine at this point. If there's no other reason to get rid of Spolstra maybe just because a more vociferous coach might actually get some calls for them?

I don't like Harden as a player, but I think he'd be a nice fit in Chicago

Can they afford him? They seem oddly hesitant to amnesty Boozer which is doubly odd not just because of his huge terrible contract, but the fact that they have Taj Gibson playing behind him.

Yeah, not unless they amnesty Boozer. He's never been the scorer they hoped he would be, and his legs lots a lot of lift over the last few years. He just doesn't fit into their system. Taj + Noah is a lot better.

Oh give me a break what kind of NBA are we watching now? That was a flagrant foul? If anything, it looked to me like Lebron decided to go fullback on Fisher?

Calls on Perkins and Fisher definitely broke for the Heat. Both questionable calls.

Edit: That's okay, second degree murder on another James drive to the rim. No call.

Edit2: Less contact than I thought.
