Philly Chicago game....26 to 35 going into the half.
Yikes! 14 blocked shots combined at the half. Double yikes!

I like the fact the Bulls are playing hard and smart to not lose what is most likely their last game at the UC.

It hasn't worked out these playoffs (it happens), but you don't want to lose the last game of the year at home.

I'm sure Rondo could have gotten a better shot than that.

horrible pass that led to the steal - no idea what Rondo was doing on that last play

Gibson's ankle is going to hurt in a few hours, Bulls can't get a break health-wise

When did Hawes become a decent center?

I still don't understand why teams don't foul when they have a 3 point lead and time running out....Kobe hit two 3's (but missed some shots as well) during the last 5 minutes of the game when the Lakers nearly came back from that 15 point deficit. They definitely had the momentum during the last minute of play.

So instead of fouling Kobe and forcing him to make a free throw and then forcing the Lakers to some how get the missed free throw and score another basket, they roll the dice on Kobe missing a 3....Which has a higher probability of happening, the Lakers making a 3 pointer or scoring off an intentionally missed free throw???

I was wondering the same thing. Especially since Kobe was on fire at the end.

I get the logic behind fouling, but a smart player is going to jack up a shot when the contact comes and get three free throws out of it. Not worth the risk to make Kobe earn it at the stripe; he's made a living there.

that is why you foul them as soon as they get the ball before they get into a shooting position....The TNT announcer was even yelling for the Denver player to foul Kobe before he shot it...he was dribbling for about 3 seconds before he took the shot and it seems like they could have fouled him before he shot it...

He meant foul him as soon as its inbounded, as they were out team fouls, forcing 2 free throws instead of giving Kobe the chance to shoot the three.

And the three by Kobe and Sessions were damn close.

I was hoping the Spurs would play again this weekend but it's looking like they're going to have 7+ days off.

It is amazing how deep of a hole they can dig themselves into. So Clipper-esqe. Then the rapid fire technicals are just the icing on the cake.

The Spurs are gonna benefit from the rest, though not if it means they get the Grizzlies in the second round.

You know the Spurs are 4-0 against the Grizzlies this year, right? They don't scare them, and that's who the Spurs want to play. They want revenge.

The Bulls were 3-0 against the Heat last year in the regular season then went down 4-1 in the playoffs. The Spurs are good this year and would likely beat the Grizzlies, but they match up much better against the Clippers.

Z-Bo was out all this season, and it was the double team action of him and Gasol inside that the Spurs couldn't stop in last year's series.

Funny, people thought the combination of Favors, Jefferson and Millsap would give the Spurs a problem. Randolph is not playing like he did last year - I'd love some revenge, and I'll take it with the Spurs rested as the Grizzlies finish a physical series.
