Safari 5
Apple today released Safari 5, the latest version of the world's fastest and most innovative web browser, featuring the new Safari Reader for reading articles on the web without distraction, a 30 percent performance increase over Safari 4,* and the ability to choose Google, Yahoo! or Bing as the search service powering Safari's search field. Available for both Mac and Windows, Safari 5 includes improved developer tools and supports more than a dozen new HTML5 technologies that allow web developers to create rich, dynamic websites. With Safari 5, developers can now create secure Safari Extensions to customize and enhance the browsing experience.

I would love to see that as well, especially since I think we have almost all of the info regarding the new iphone, but I have a feeling the new AppleTV is a ways off, at least based off of how Steve Jobs was talking at AllThingsD.

Anyhow, looking forward to any and all surprises tomorrow!

edit: rumors are saying they are going to release a magic trackpad that can connect to a notebook or desktop via Bluetooth. No more mice - just use your fingers and gestures.

This will be super hot. I had a Wacom Bamboo Touch, and while it was cool, it just wasn't as good as Apple's product. I've been hoping for this product for many many years :awe:

Now we wait on price :D

My CTO is there at the conference. He'll be feeding me live text updates with pics.

Glad to see they banned Gizmodo :)

I'd never choose a trackpad over a mouse for a desktop.

I would, in a heard beat!
I think it depends if your primary computer is a laptop or desktop.
Now I just need to figure out how to plant on in my GF's hackintosh'ed dell laptop

I might be wrong, but I dont think they banned Gizmodo, but rather Apple declined to give them a press pass. This would force Gizmodo to have to buy a regular ticket to attend, which they didn't do...and thus they cannot go. I don't think Apple said "don't let anyone in the building who claims to be affiliated with gizmodo!"

Hahahaha, fuck gizmodo.

I'd LOVE free mobile me. I pay for it right now but of course would love the $100 to keep myself.

There'll obviously be some html5 talk too.

For the Ipad launch someone found an actual streaming video site that showed the conference and then an after show where they discussed the launch. Anyone recall what the site was, or if there'll be any video coverage of this?

I think Leo was live streaming it... will have to see if he tries it again.

My predictions:

1. iPhone HD
2. New AppleTV
3. Safari 5 with HTML5
4. iPod Touch with Camera
5. Apple Magic Trackpad

No Verizon mentions. Possibly 6-core/12-core Mac Pros, but maybe not until later this summer.
