Seriously, Westbrook needs less touches. There is zero reason, no matter what, that Westbrook should get more touches than Durant. Durant is your #1 option, Westbrook is beginning to get more and more of a ball-hog, especially with these playoffs. The coaching staff really needs to get it in his head that he's #2.

i think everyone can agree these have been the best playoffs in the last 5 years. simply amazing.

maybe in the last 10 years! reminds me of the first lakers 3peat. the refs made a bunch of BS calls in favor of my lakers to produce some exciting 7 game series 😛

After getting snubbed in any first/second team defense recognition, look for a pissed off Deng to have a series-breakout game tonight offensively (to go with his already tireless defensive effectiveness.)

Deng finally proved this year why I thought he was the last one that Chicago should have traded when Gordon, Heinrich and him were all on the trading block.

He's an Odom kind of flex guy who is less gifted offense wise, but just a much harder worker and excellent defender. His minutes through the playoffs are insane.

ummm... NO, I strongly disagree, Magic's rise as the Eastern champions on 09 was THE best I ever remember, sooo many OTs they were very very existing games.
It was sad to see Jameer Nelson return in the Finals, I kinda knew at that point that they will loose. You don't fix something that ain't broken. How can shorty be helpful against a team of giants? He broke the team's rythm... it was a sad sad moment, I will never fort it... 🙁

Hope OKC pulls off the series win in 7. OKC would be a slightly easier team for Mavs to beat. Westbrook being a ball hog means Durant has the ball less and overall OKC is a young team that has trouble finishing/closing out games, whereas the Mavs have many more years experience.

But regardless of MEM or OKC, I think Mavs will beat either.

As for the east, Mavs swept ATL, Bos, and Heat. However, Chi swept Mavs though one of those games i think dirk was out. Honestly, I think Heat would be the toughest team for Mavs, not only b/c of past ghosts, but also b/c Heat is a lot stronger than they were in 2006.

Agreed, he's extremely reliable never seems to make poor decisions that throw off the rhythm of the teammates and game flow around him. He's extremely disciplined and does exactly what Thibs loves...finishes plays! Heck, my knees hurt watching him close out, then chase down rebounds, then sprint back in transition, then cover a fast break...brutal, lol.

He was tradeable in the offseason, not someone I wanted to leave because he worked so hard for the bulls, but I expected it to be a sign/trade with Lebron or something, which I was willing to accept at the time.

Thank goodness they didn't send him to Denver in a Carmelo deal...that would have been a disaster.

Overall the bulls played the offseason extemely well..."live and die by Gordon" had to go (let go that is), and Heinrich wasn't a game changer at all imo....while he is very good on defense most of the time, there are too many players that he just can't guard. Not to mention the fact that he can't drive the ball very well...not a limitation you want in a streak-shooting point guard.

Everyone can come up short mentally, Kobe choked tonight and has choked plenty of times in the past. But that doesn't mean he's not an elite player. Bosh isn't on Wade or LBJ's level, but he's far better than a Gasol or Bynum or any other 3rd man I can think of in the league. My monies on the Heat this year, and they're only going to get better.

good to see haslem back. imagine if mike miller had consistent playing time..

i still hate bosh. has all the talent, yet still plays like a scared little bitch.

woah, I've never seen Josh Smith playing so aggressively and with so much energy...that's frightening how good how good he could be if he did it every game.

Who is this Teague guy? Dude is taking over the game.
Bulls look like a one man team. Definitely not championship material. I'm going with Atlanta in this series. Atlanta looks like a more complete team.

Teague is clearly their mvp of the series...a guy who only played a few minutes against orlando.

The hawks and their coaching staff have really done a great job exposing the bulls weaknesses and inexperience.
