I just turned the game off. F'ing ridiculous. Doesn't even look like the same Alabama team that played during the season.

During the bowl season, there's always a team that comes out and plays like their season has already ended. They come out with no energy and no effort. Ga Tech was like that against LSU the other day for the Chick-Fil-A Bowl and now Bama came out like that. Embarrassing.

Well, at least I get to see the epicness of Saban failing this hard.

11-minutes into this game and we are already at 21-0, UTAH!

Real quality wins there

Miami
#18 Pitt
#17 BYU
#13 OSU
#6 Penn State

4 top twenty teams - and perhaps if the Pac-10 would stop beating up on each other so much they would have been given tougher opponents.......

This entire conference fan concept is absolute stupidity. I pretty much dispise some of the other teams in my conference. You people are retarded.

I hope this actually turns into a game. All the BCS bowls so far have been pretty terrible to watch. The random bowl games have all been a blast to watch.

You're joking, right?

Analysts thought the pac 10 was weak at the begining of the season so they were bogged down with it all year. So the only way to prove them wrong is in the bowls which the pac 10 did this year. So next year they may be the "best" conference, because of this years bowl. That is until they prove or dis-prove it in the 2009-2010 bowl games.

How so? If you are a true fan of your team, you root for the other teams in your conference come bowl time. In the system we have today, there is so much bias that the only way you can have a shot at the national title is by being in a "good conference".

Why do you think utah is sitting at home? You can bet everyone else in their conference is happy about it, because if utah wins, their conference gets some respect, and future voters won't be as likely to shaft their teams.

Ohio State losing so many key games lately hurt Penn State this year. if OSU had won back to back national titles and beat USC, I guaruntee Penn State would be in the national title game this year (not that they deserve it, im just making a point).

How so? You're really gonna sit there and tell me that there is no conference bias in the ranking system?

The perceived PAC10 weakness is the only reason USC didn't go to the title game. Now that they've won all their bowl games, come next year, USC will probably be in the title game with a loss.

Well it looks like the game is going like how it should have been, only question is if they can climb back.

Shens, the only thing that comes from Wisconsin is cheese. If you want logic, you have to go a little further east.

lol I explained this in my post above your initial post:

So next year they may be the "best" conference, because of this year's bowls. That is until they prove or dis-prove it in the 2009-2010 bowl games.

some people just don't understand college football

Yup, just disagree and call people retarded. Way to backup your viewpoint!
