They started making sponges for children (Spongebob sponges) and expanding onto medical sponges. I can see them making sponges for other fields as well.

That's just one angle, here's their income and revenues for the last three years:

2007 - Revenue .06 Mil, Net Income -.082 Mil
2008 - Revenue 5.21 Mil, Net Income 1.24 Mil
2009 - Revenue 13.16 (Q1), Net Income 1.51 Mil (Q1) With projected Q2 revenues approaching 50Mil and Net Income of 10 Mil.

They have recently advertise into more mainstream media mediums, and have signed contract with Costco to sell their products. Their products aren't on the shelves of most popular chain stores yet. You do the math.

They're earnings rate so far mimics a high growth company, and earnings look impressive so far - just look out for signs of flat-lining though if the plan to integrate their products into mainstream, high traffic shopping avenues don't work. It's still a very small company.

Yeah, even with a high P/E ratio I'm pegging this at $.50- $.65 for now.

And now, a song by Mr. Sssnail...

I dream a dream when all my cows come home... When Sssnail can sleep for another year... I dream a dream when my cows hit green... Then Sssnail won't have to stare at the screen...

All my cows are being fatten... As they graze along chart patterns

I dream my cows will turn into bulls, that they will be big fat strong bulls, and they won't get slaughters by bears...

They all want to grow bigger, and stronger, and FATTER....

My cows will become bulls, I dream....

RMBS is up 3.3% in after hours. Is this because of the news of a possible settlement with the EU?

That is exactly what is happening. I need to read the fine print to see what the settlement entails. I'm hoping EU throws the white flag because of the FTC fell flat on their face, but we'll have to see. Maybe Rambus gets some "verbal slack", but nothing else. Here's hoping...

Isn't it funny though how we were talking about Rambus being no news this summer until the September AT trial, and THEN I write about the EU just yesterday and pop, here is the news. Uncanny!

Please don't steal my oracle from me!!!!!! :p

How the hell do you even find out about these companies? It's OTC/Pink Sheets, right?

Thx guys...I'm not a day trader or stock expert but here's my story. So it all started with this one stock "MMTE" which I bought @ $0.0006. I think I found the damn thing in a magazine or in an email! LOL
After that I started to look into OTC/Pink Sheets stock and came across a bunch of sub penny stocks that moved large volumes. I figure, let me put $100 into each one and see if it takes off.
I've been following SPNG for quite some time now. When I saw it go from $0.01 to $0.03 and a bunch of news came out, I had to jump on it. Granted $4k is a lot of money but it was a risk I was willing to take.

For anyone wanting a piece of penny stocks, take a look at MGLG. The sad part is my ass only put in $250 into MGLG at $0.0004. Look at what it did today. I'm fvcking dumb for putting in $250 but I figure I would rather throw $4k at a company that makes money (SPNG) than one that's unknown (MGLG). With oil prices going up, MGLG is going to prosper (hopefully).

Note: I play the market for "fun," but I do have a 401k account and IRA account. I don't advise anyone to follow what I'm doing or have done! I just got lucky ...

What I hold now:

SKNY (7000 shares @ $0.21 - I was in when the stock hit $0.50)
SNRS (1.4 million shares @ $0.0001 - is up to $0.0002)
MGLG (625000 shares @ $0.0004 - now up to $0.0017)
SPNG (133,333 shares @ $0.03 - now up to $0.24)
SYNJ (50,000 shares @ $0.004 - i should've gotten in @ $0.0008 but didnt)

Thinking of adding more to my MGLG position and possibly picking up GLCC (walmart of china).

Doesn't look like any of those stocks are real companies with real earnings except for SPNG...

Couldn't agree with you more :D

However, SKNY is making money, I'm upset I didn't buy more when it was $0.03.
Anyways, I'll probably dump some of my stocks depending on how high they go.

I would stay away from GLCC. There's a 2.9 billion float. can't even pump and dump that one.

hah i remember SKNY, they're trying to be the next vitamin water

I like the author, NukeJohn. I've known him since 1999 back when we were both sharing ideas and information over at the Motley Fool investment site (www.fool.com). However, he is probably one of the most optimistic people regarding his stocks that I have ever seen. He has the facts right most of the time, just unrealistic time and price expectations.

How'd you come across Seeking Alpha, JS80?

In other news, I bought a bit into a bunch of commodities today. Also bought some more shares of SNT.

I read the European Union (EU) settlement with Rambus. Rambus admits no guilt or wrongdoing, but also agrees to license their technology as specified rates (without forgiving past infringement). DRAM will be charged 1.5% worldwide rate (better than 4.25% US only rate that Judge Whyte was restricted to) and 2.65% for DRAM controllers. License agreements will last 5 years. Lower than what Rambus wanted to punish people with, but higher than what DRAM companies wanted to pay. What is funny is that way back before all this court cases happened, Rambus WAS offering these rates back in 1999 - 2000.

I have a hard time believing that the EU came with this on their own, and it must have been agreed upon with some (if not most) European companies not paying Rambus.

The total market is around $50 billion. If RMBS gets an average of 2% worldwide royalty, that's an additional $6 EPS after taxes. With a PE of 30 that most of us long-time investors assume, Rambus' stock is worth $180! That's not considering everything else RMBS wants to get in on (mobile memory for example).

There's A LOT of details missing though, but that's what I come up with if the MM's agree to the settlement. There's a conference call tomorrow morning before the bell that I'm waking up for. It should clear up some of my questions. I took the day off work - have a conference myself with some prominent RMBS investors.

Recent RMBS investors should be thrilled. I bet some decade long investors will whine a bit because they wanted to take the other companies to their grave, but I much prefer a middle of the road business solution. This has lasted WAY too long.

There's so many details missing that I cannot speculate what this will trade at by the close tomorrow. It could go past $20.

Since last years and this years march low's, lot of stocks were beaten down from their value and so when you bought them it had some movement in them and you made profit. I havent been following stocks before last year, so how was it like say in 2005, 06, 07? Was it this easy to find so many stocks that had a good price movement left in them?

EDIT: Oh and rmbs reached 17.20 pre-market!!!

I locked in some profit on RMBS. I think there might be a bit more upside on it though, especially if the Hynix settlement terms are disclosed at some point.

Should I sell RMBS and take profit or do you guys think it might go up more later in the day? Usually after good news, stock goes up in the morning and flattening or even go down a bit in the afternoon after all the excitement settle down.

Seeking Alpha links are all over Yahoo Finance. I like reading the bullshit that people post, but once in a while you get some real quality posts.

I think this time though you have a more aggressive price expectation than him :p

azurik, i just wanted to let you know because of you i've regained everything i've lost last year and i'm up big this year. i know you said you're not this good all the time, but 6 of the 8 stocks i have followed you on have doubled or more. i understand if i lose money, the responsibility is on me, but keep up with the predictions and analysis!

i also commend you for being brave enough to buy rambus while it was crashing. everyone panicked while you kept buying more and more. must have paid off big time for you. i guess you made around $40,000+++ today. congrats again!

so, what you're strategy with rmbs now?

i  azurik!
