GOod sell.

Forgot to post a stock tip - IAR. Earnings next week. Stock should double.

Anyone get in on my stock tip?

Bought it at $1.91 yesterday, set a stop loss today at 2.03, and unfortunately it filled while I took a nap. lol I may buy some tomorrow morning if I see it going up again. I'm trying to save up my day trades. Good call, though. Thanks.

Rumors floating that WAMU may be bought out next week, their stock has taken a dive recently, making them a cheap target.

So guys.....
I have a little bit of extra cash in my account, and I was looking for a high risk / high reward type of stock to hold on to for the short term..

I was honestly thinking Wamu, or maybe Fannie or Freddie.

You guys have any suggestions?

You can always give your money to me and I'll give you a million dollars after the transaction...
That has a high risk/high reward.

I'l throw out a couple ideas for movement one way or t'other:

If oil continues to be weak then breaking through $120 as a psychological barrier could prompt a larger decline. US demand is weakening, supply is increasing, Arctic reserve estimates were upped, there are new regulations and investigations into manipulation, and so on. Of course all it will take to reverse is a more serious storm, Nigerian shens, or a breakdown of negotiations with Iran. HOD ETF or, indirectly, airlines are ways to play.

The solar sector has been weak -no thanks to new IPOs and a number of dilutive secondary offerings, plus WFR just shat the bed. A key earnings report is due from FSLR on 7/30 with CSIQ and SOL likewise on or around 8/14. Just read short interest in CSIQ is 22% of float. Jumped today on an upgrade.

For an expected open to the down side, KFT is up 3%+ premarket due to better than expected earnings and upside guidance for the rest of the year.

Well those wacky Nigerians came through with some shens afterall. The payoffs were insufficient, apparently. Still, magic eight ball says oil trend continues lower for the mo'.

I'm enjoying this downtrend somewhat...I'm scooping up tons of cheap shares that panicked people are dumping off.

Penny stock of the day UVSE

are you trying to pump this? :p jk

actually why do you like it so much?

lol no i don't do pumping. Stock went from like 50c to 2c in a matter of days with no news (or maybe it was because of their guidance). Anyway, the market cap is like $600k (yes, not even a million). If one of their drilling "projects" happens to hit anything the stock should go back up to $1. Also, it looks like they are running out of cash, which means there has to be another round of funding. If they do find financing stock should benefit.

But my "real" picks are IAR/RHD
