Kobe's lighting it up!!!! c'mon lakers! finally denver shows up for all 4 quarters hahahah.

and man, that atlanta/boston game was SICK. I can't wait for game 5 of that series!

Do you think the players on both side will finally blow up in game 5? Game 3: Horford (Rookie) talks trash to Pierce. Game 4: Zaza Pachulia (??) steps up to KG. Seems like the Hawks are asking for it. I wanna see Big Baby and Horford go at it or maybe Cassell and Bibby (Bibbbbbbbby).

heh, I'm expecting the Celts to come out and absolutely slaughter Atlanta with a 20-30 point win. Hawks are playing w/ a bit too much emotion. I don't think the Celts will talk back, but they will talk back in the form of a blow out.

It could be, like the Pistons, that the Celtics were a bit complacent this past two games. Once the true identities of Celts/Pistons show up, they'll easily steamroll through their respective series.

oh..and GO LAKERS!!! yay!!! it's been a long time coming :(. Three agonizing years. finally!!! Unfortunately, I think this will be as far as Lakers will go based on how they played defense in the series against the Nuggets. :(

All I gotta say is that the guys that each came off the bench and onto the court during that "altercation" in the Celts/Hawks game better get suspended for one game.

Remember, as in the suns game last year, a "rule is a rule"

I also think Jason Kidd should be suspended for a game. I don't buy what Kidd said at all. It WAS A FRUSTRATION call.

and ya, I do agree that the guys that came off the bench get suspended. Last year's suspension was absolute BS though.

I still think the suspension rule itself is BS, but if Stern doesn't follow the same line he did last year, he will lose all credibility with me

Well I don't think Marvin Williams should get suspended. Perkins definitely took a step as if he wanted to join the melee. However, Williams seemed like he just wanted a view. I guess with what happened last year, the decision must be made by the letter of the law.

Lakers are, indeed, playing tight basketball... fun to watch.

Now what about the Cavs / Wiz... I honestly only watched the entirety of one game (and a little of the others) in that series and I gotta be honest, the Wiz are playing thug basketball. IMO, continuous hard fouls focused on one player shouldn't be allowed... the Wizard players are saying they are not trying to hurt James but I say "BS" to that. They are fouling him hard hoping he does get hurt or retaliates and gets kicked out. That is not basketball... bottom line... and should be inhibited.

Doesn't matter for this series... Cavs will close out series in game 5.

But i think in general... when a team decide to continuously commit hard fouls on a single player on the opposing team then the refs need to exercise prudence. Fouling is one thing, clearly going for the ball and or stopping the shot attempt or dribble drive while not risking the players safety is just fine... foul away. But as soon as a couple hard fouls are dished out against one player and it becomes evident what a team is trying to do...using hard fouls to beat on a single player... that has got to be controlled. I think the threshold for what is considered flagrant needs to be lowered in this case... after the 3rd, 4th hard foul in a game, hard fouls get flagrant 1's... next game in the series after one hard foul they start becoming flagrant 1's.

Otherwise, teams like the Wizards will show no class and will be sending in scrubs to undercut and hammer on opposing teams stars during playoffs as their MO.

yeah why not? This first round has been a bunch of great games. I want to see all of them continue into 7 games if possible.

I gotta get my sports fix in before the black hole of sports happens in june (Who cares about baseball)

Great come back by the Pistons. Especially being away ! Deeeeetroit Baskebaaaaaalll

Blah its the 76ers for christ sake...a 37 win team! Detroit should be blowing them out of the water.

I agree, but its the playoffs. I don't see the Celtics blowing the Hawks off the court.

They are a bunch of sissies including their coach ...lol AI is a damn good player, but I don't see them leaving it out on the court. Kobe alone would of prolly swept them.

I agree with you man. That's not what I turn on the TV to watch, low brow basketball. I liked how James said if we were playing at the park... something would have definitely gone down.

LMAO, watching 1st and 10 on ESPN. They interview Haywood about hard fouling James, and Haywood's like "awesome dude, it's the fucking playoffs man, quit QQing like a bitch." lawls.

Yeah, I saw that. And they called a foul on Shaq on that. Ridiculous.

Great game ending coming up...

not as bad as kirilenko pulling mcgrady's arm behind mcgrady's back like some sort of wrestling hold and the officials calling a foul on mcgrady for it.

Why is Nash still shooting, he's awful tonight!

Edit: And then makes a freaking 3-pointer...

Edit2: Nash has way too many crucial turnovers...
