English is one of the worst when it comes to phonetics. It seems there is more exceptions than normal words.

I posted, then looked at it and it seemed wrong so I googled.

Hossa NO CUP FOR YOU!

For people getting on Hossa (some even call him a traitor, Pittsburgh got him as a rental. He played less than one season there. It's not like he departed after several seasons.

I wanted Detroit to win for him. Crosby will have his share of cups. Plus now there's little chance of Hossa coming back to Ottawa. He'll probably sign long term in Detroit to get another chance at the Cup.

I actually don't blame him. He was a rent a star, playing with the mostly European Wings was probably more enjoyable, and it sounds like the Pens former coach Therrin was tough to work with.

If he'd kept it to that - no issue. Saying he was leaving to have a better chance at the Cup to go to the team that beat them for the cup - he opened himself up for it.

IMHO 😉

Goos for Gonchar to finally get one.

You've already proved a lack of typing and spelling skills 😉

This just shows that even without crosby they can hold their own. Sure he adds to the team, but even without him out there they have enough depth to overcome it. Good job Wings, this series very easily could have went either way. Last year they looked alot stronger than than pens. This year, both teams were pretty much dead even. All in all, I think this was a pretty damn good year for playoff hockey. Also I as a penguins fan, wouldn't mind getting hossa back.

More games were broadcast on local TV this year too. The sport is getting back its airtime since the lockout days.

I would say I am drunk except I don't drink. Issue is the keyboard is not in my normal typing position so once in a while a letter is missed.

Suck it Hossa 😛

Cheers,
Aquaman [not a big Pens fan but I could not stand Hossa winning after he left the Pens because he thought Detroit was his best chance at winning a cup]

I have to respect the Wings because they play their system fanatically and don't lose their cool. But it seems the age factor (=fatigue) mattered. Even on the Detroit paper's blog during Game 7 their own fans felt the Wings were not sufficiently wound up for the game which I attribute to being out of gas. They played the equivalent of another 1/4 season in the playoffs.

And what can you say about Pens coach Dan Bylsma? If they wrote his season as a movie script people would say it was too far-fetched. Steps in with 25 games left in the regular season and the Pens not even in a playoff slot, and goes 18-3-4 to finish second. Then 16-8 in the playoffs to be the Stanley Cup champions.

I hate to do this but I can't help myself.

Detriot fans everywhere:

NEENER NEENER NEEEEEEEEENER!

It's a rare opportunity to give the Red Wings grief.

Great series.
