Hossa NO CUP FOR YOU!

For people getting on Hossa (some even call him a traitor, Pittsburgh got him as a rental. He played less than one season there. It's not like he departed after several seasons.

I wanted Detroit to win for him. Crosby will have his share of cups. Plus now there's little chance of Hossa coming back to Ottawa. He'll probably sign long term in Detroit to get another chance at the Cup.

congrats to the penguins.

i don't watch hockey but i saw the last quarter and i found it very intense. now i know why there's no goalie at the end of games sometimes 🙂

Are detroit fans actually booing?

If you win in the opposing city fans will always boo...happened last year...wouldn't expect any difference this year.

That is just classless after the game is over.

I agree...the problem is 50% boo and 50% clap. All you hear is the booing. Anyone that claims their city doesn't do it is lying.

Wow, Fleury sounds like a chick!

>_>
Now I know why he is called "Flower".

Also GG Pen's.
I can't wait to see the injury report tomorrow though...
Also sucks to be Hossa... Pen's had him for less than a season, Sens and Trashers couldn't keep him if they wanted... I wonder if he'll sign to Detroit for a discount....

Maybe he is from some alternate universe where one third is called a quarter.

You know I would actually rather here that than hearing my mother rant about how many "scores" the other team got.

What was she watching that the teams are scoring in scores?

I have no idea but it typically goes something like "I just couldn't believe that game! Our guys just couldn't get any scores even though they hit the post lots."

Drives me nuts...

Ya, sorry. Just setup too well to pass up. 😀

wow .. what a great game of hockey .. intense right to the end. those saves by flower at the end were just crazy. the diving save was just all desperation. i would have never thought the pens would hold on with sid out. just proves they're a deeper team than everyone thought.

way to go pens!

:wine: Or the vicodin I'm on right now

Pens definitely deserved to win. The Red Wings simply lacked the ability to control the puck in the neutral and offensive zone until they were in serious trouble. They also had little success with taking the puck away in their defensive zone. It's unfortunate to see them have so many issues so late in the hockey season, but that's the game. Can't snooze and win Stanley.
