They shut out C-Bus yesterday too......... a pretty hot team at the moment.

Whoever they get in the first round should be a good test.

Personally I think they are lacking in net a little bit... but that's pretty tough to say right now with Ozzie posting a shutout yesterday, him being their weak spot IMO. Conks is their #1, right?

You were sucking, and any comments were deserved. Nobody's saying the Pens suck right now, though.

As a Flyers fan, I'd love to see that first round matchup. I loved the Flyers-Caps series last year and thats my top choice for a first rounder, though. Mostly because I can still afford tickets to that round, live just outside of DC, and can probably go to 3-4 games since Philly is so close.

If its Flyers-Pens, I will probably have to make the drive to Pittsburgh for at least one game.
 
One of the most consistently great goaltenders of all time. If he had retired a couple of years ago he'd still be a Hall shoe-in. I don't see him slowing down either.

 
alright Marty is like 36...so I see 2 or 3 more seasons (2 more likely)...estimate 40 wins 38 wins he'll be sitting at 628 wins? so anything on top...basically if he stays in he should break 650 wins!...that will set one hell of a standard too
 
Sens are proving nowadays that Craig Hartsburg's system was pure shite. Defensive players generally make crappy coaches as they make their team play to not-lose instead of win.
 
God my Sabres suck so much.

They can beat all the top teams, but lose horribly against the bottom feeders.

Sad state of affairs.

Marty will go at least till he is 39 since he has 3 years on his contract and I bet he will even go longer.

Don't worry. We might not make the playoffs but we will probably keep another 2-3 teams out of them to join your Slugs. 😉

 
well i did a look into Roy and Martys payoff wins and Roy is a solid 56 wins ahead

but Marty has 113 regular season wins in internation plus JR. compared to Roy with 87

to settle this we need to find their PeeWee stats. Cause they are sitting fairly close career wise

It is not a major secret that I'm not a huge hockey fan ... but growing up in the glory days in Edmonton I did watch some. Now that I live on the West Coast, I try to somewhat keep up with the Oilers so I can trash-talk my co-workers who are Canucks crazy. I haven't ready a newspaper, nor watched a hockey highlight show in a long time.

Are the Oil going to make the playoffs this year?
