Man the Detroit game. Some of those calls are seriously weak. I think refs have it set for the flames to lose.

Detroit out shoot Calgary 51-15 , damn , atleast they showed up for the 2nd period for a while.

when i was using the preview (they've made available) they had commercials FOR center ice (assuming this is because it's the trial time)

other then the Center Ice commercials they just played some generic song with some generic graphic till the game came back.

They showed up and still got outshot 12-3.

The Flames sure are the tougher, grittier team that wants it more.

You can easily mute the TV. Wouldn't you rather watch the games than not watch them?

Yes but I'm allready paying over $100 to the cable co. for internet & tv now. The whole idea of paying for cable started out to be not having to indure all those ads & now it's as bad if not worse than the networks. Sometimes it seems like the program is secondary to the sales pitches & I don't like paying a premium for that.

Late to this thread. I'm rooting for the Red Wings or Dallas. Both looking good at the moment.

I wouldn't say they choke, I'd say more that winning in the playoffs requires different skills that winning in the regular season. Letting Chara and Hasek go were huge mistakes since they both are so valuable playoff players. Ottawa really has no playoff goal tending. Emery may very well turn into such a goalie, but he has to prove it first - last year he didn't do it and is on his way to not prove it this year. Ottawa's D is more offensive than defensive and isn't built to deal out the required punishment over the 7 game series.

Yeah, and Chris Neil of all people complained, calling it a late hit. That left me flabbergasted.

Happy man today. Very happy with the Wings performance this afternoon.

You can't blame the refs for the calls they made this afternoon. Flames got what they deserved. Coming out and playing sloppy and not keeping their heads in the game and you're going to do stupid stuff.

Just want to see what's going to happen in Game 3 now.

Eventually, the Sens will watch the tape, and see that if they have anything to bitch about, it's the 'guiding' from the D-man on the play. The hit, while devastating, was legal. You just can't safely make a cut like that with your head down.
