He won't be starting for at least 2 years unless Green gets stupid.

Uh, i think Leinart will start this year, i don't see why not. They're not going to keep him behind Warner for 2 seasons though. Great pick for the Cardinals, I guess all the pre-draft mumbo jumbo has an affect on NFL GMs, everyone saying this week "Oh, Leinart's arm isn't stong enough!", Psh. Don't know why they're saying that. I probably would of drafted Young over Leinart still because a running quarterback is a double threat. I'm actually excited about the Cardinals this year though, for the first time in my life. Things are really looking up now for the Cards. Maybe a slight chance to make the playoffs this year, will probably make them next year if not.

All of you who laughed at Leinart's fall....he is going to OWN in Arizona. They have a NASTY offense. Sure they need OL help, but Leinart, James, Boldin, and Fitzgerald is ridiculous.

I'm satisified with Dallas' selection of Carpenter, to an extent. While he certainly fits in their defense, it means they've essentially given up on last year's 43rd pick, Kevin Burnett, without ever seeing him play. I think they would have been better off drafting a WR, especially since both of the top WRs were still on the board, and their starters being into their 30's...

Bush to NO is an interesting pick. Deuce McAllister is already a pro-bowl caliber HB.

What good are offensive weapons if you don't have enough time to utilize them?

WTF Titans? We just traded away Winston Justice (well the pick for him) to Philly and I have no idea what we got because we have no more picks now until tomorrow?

I'm still upset that we took Vince Young but hey, I like the safe picks like Ferguson.

Ah NM I see it. We dropped to 45 in the 2nd. When I first looked they showed us as having a 4th next (I knew we had no third) so I had no idea wtf was going on. I'm still not happy but that's why I'm sitting at home in a crappy townhouse instead of making the big bucks as a NFL gm. :p

VY was a VERY poor choice. Fisher and Chow wanted Matt and were prepared to pick him. Unfortunately the GM has ultimate call on the pick and selected VY. The GM and Bud Adams are big VY fans and that's why he was picked.

Leinart just seems like a better overall QB to me. It's a shame we didn't get him.

I'm surprised that White fell so far though. He's a good pick that late and is a solid North South runner. He'll be a good addition to Chris Brown and Travis Henry.

What is up with the "Got Robbed" shirt White is wearing? I hope he's not insinuation that the Pistons were robbed last year by the Spurs? What a loser if that's the case. Couldn't he wear a suit or something? At least look presentable, geez.

dayum...lendale white could be a steal of the draft

i don't think his free fall in the draft boards was really warranted considering his talent level

as a texans fan, i'm not looking forward to facing vince young + lendale white twice a year

Why did Dallas take a TE in the 2nd round...that was a terrible choice. They already have one of the better TE's in the league in Jason Witten, they still have need at FS and OT, and OTs have not been going off the board like people expected, they could have gotten someone very solid.

Bah.

PS The Titans got a steal in LenDale White, shame they made the terrible decision of drafting Vince Young over Matt Leinart.

Bleh screw that. I may live in the Nashville area but I'm not a Vandy fan. I still would have taken Jay Cutler over either of those two.

They're gonna make this kid into a linebacker, or he'll be the guy to fill Strahan's shoes in a few years. Or both. If they actually make him into a linebacker like some rumors are saying (he DID work out at linebacker), that will be one fearsome passrushing defense. Dayum. I have full faith in Accorsi.

They run a 2 TE offense instead of using the FB, according to Jones.

I would rather they have taken an OL or CB/FS there. And taking another DE in the 3rd is absolutely ridicoulous, that is probably the biggest strength on the team. Jeebus.
