I don't remember the exact numbers but the announcers mentioned that the Pistons are dominate in Game 7 situations. Like 8 and 1? They also had a nice number for closing out a series.

Spurs could have had it Tuesday. Manu was trying to do WAY to much in the final minutes of the game. He was taking shots that just make you say WTF? Of course the Pistons didn't look all that great either in the 4th. I thought they could have played better.

With saying that.....GO PISTONS!!!

yeah, the pistons have a great game 7 record, while most of the Spurs haven't even played in a game 7.

all that is probably counteracted by the Spurs playing on homecourt.

and, yes, only 9 more hours to go.

Duncan will have a 30-20 game and Manu will score in the 30s.
Bowen will finally D up on Billups and shut him down.
Horry's statline: 10pts, 6 rebs, 3 blk, 4 stls.
Parker: 15pts, 5 asst

Big Ben: 15 reb, 10pts
Rip: 16pts
Sheed: 2 Techs in the 3rd quarter will kill the Pistons

Go SPURS!

You say that Bowen will finally "D" up on Billups. Then WHO will Parker guard at 6-2?? ROFL. Um. Rip 6-7, or Tayshaun Prince 6-9 to Parker 6-2. Rip or Prince would rape Parker, maybe even worse than the 6-3 Billups did with those height advantages. Bowen won't be guarding Chauncey, period, because Parker doesn't match up height wise to any other player.

bowen on billups should ONLY be used sporadically for the Spurs. if he's on him the entire game, look for Rip to go off for 25-30 points.

it works out better for the Pistons, as Chauncey won't be looked upon to score, but rather distribute the ball.

Pop will only put Bowen on Chauncey if he's on fire and start knocking down 3's and J's like he's unconscious. even then, i only see him doing that for a few possessions as a time.

edit: sorry. box-1 and have Bowen stick to Billups

Ok fine. they'll play a box-1 zone and let Parker run around like a chicken with it's head cut off.

this is game 7. the teams have faced each other to know everything about each other. i don't suspect Pop or LB pulling out any surprises unless they are flat out desperate.

I haven't been able to watch every minute of these finals. 🙁 Have the spurs tried a zone?

i know what they haven't tried. running like suns. they were so good at beating suns at their own running game but wont try it once with Pistons? 🙁

Not going to work against the Pistons because:

1) Pistons transition D is superb
2) Wallaces/McDyess will rape the offensive boards in that case
3) Parker is no Nash

I must agree with that.
SA needs more rebounding from Mohammed. He was dominating in the early rounds but hasn't done anything besides hack people in the finals.

Agreed. SA survived game 5 because Duncan had 19 rebounds.

However, SA needs to do something about their turnovers. If they don't reduce the differential, they will lose again.

Go SPURS!

one last bump before i head out to watch the game.

GOOOO PISTONS!!!!!!!!!

Deeeeeeeetrooooooooooooooiiiittt Baaaaaaaaasketbaaaaaallll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GOD D@#N THE REFS!

They are ruining the game for both teams. All these fouls, we'll end up with a 70 point game and the backup of the backups for both teams potentially being the hero. THis is WORSE than lopsided calls 🙁 🙁
