man the Kings are going down in the first round. sucks! oh well, there's always next year.

bobby jackson came back tonight, looking like he's ready to play. the kings are still very talented, imo. the sonics have been on a slide as of late and might be susceptible to an upset.

Really depends on if Peja is back in and how banged up Skinner got last night. He went out with a foot injury. If he is out, and Miller is still IL'd it'll be a rough series without a decent center to bang the boards.

Last night I was sad to see the Bulls lose, but it put Indiana against Boston instead of Detroit the first round. I'd actually like to see Indy make a serious run at if they can. It would be very cool for them to pull off a championship for Reggie before he retires and it would just be a very nice way to cap off a very...frustrating....season for them.

Thx. for the schedules. How about an 8 question series' poll for each matchup, deleting and redoing it after each round? :)

Great job with the poll. I'm the only one to pick the 76ers so far.

Not to pick nits, but I don't see Spurs-Nuggets.

Otherwise

$45 seem to be the second worst seats in the arena pricewise. I think it would really depend on how far to the front of the section you are. If you are towards the back it might be a bit disappointing. Still, I don't think there are many NBA stadiums where any seat is truly awful. All offer at least decent visibility. And it might be an electric atmosphere (dunno much about wizards fans).

Edit for clarity: Only the middle of the lower seats (i.e. first floor type stuff) will offer you a truly great view. Other seats are generally for "being there" and while you can see, you can't always see subtleties or make out player faces.

Side question: Are there many upsets in the NBA playoffs? I wouldn't think so, since it's based on a 7 game series.

7 game first rounds are relatively new. Back when they were 5 game first rounds, upsets were somewhat common. Rarely did an 8 upset a 1, though. Usually it's the 3 and 4 seeds that get upset. As is likely to happen this year.

You must be out of your mind. The Nets will be lucky to win one, and thats only if Shaq misses the first game. If Jefferson does come back, what are the Nets going to do? Play him at PF, and take out Collins? With one less big body, it'll just make it easier for Shaq to score and grab some offensive rebounds.

Oh baby! First game is starting. Philly vs Detroit! Iverson and Billups already arguing over which ball they want to play with.

Go Detroit!

Ya, hopefully we'll see a close game near the end.

Iverson with 2 fouls already and still in the game. lol.
