Both teams coming off impressive wins and should be prepared for business.

Let's hope it doesn't disappoint like the first 1/2 game this year.

My prediction: Michigan 35, tOSU 31

Ohio St. hands down. Will they play in the NC? Too early to say but I voted yes just because I'd love to see that.

If they play in the national championship I'll never watch college football again...... unless they start some sort of playoff.

Rooting for Michigan, and I think they'll play again in the national championship game after all the teams hat lost today.

It is just sad that college does not have a playoff. I hope beyond anything that this does not happen as it would be almost as bad as a team like Auburn getting left out (a la a few years ago). You cannot judge how good two teams are when the majority of their opponents are shared. The national championship really needs to be two teams from two different conferences.

UM, and no. As much as I hate to say it, I think either ND or USC will be above the loser of this game, unless usc loses to cal and then beats nd.

Also, I don't really want to see a playoff for college football. That would take away what is unique and exciting about CF. Big upsets like today actually mean something in CF, every game is critical and little teams performing big can turn everything upside down. If we had a playoff, the UM-OSU game next week would suck, because both teams would be in the playoff for sure and would be protecting their best players. Think back to the NFL, that meaningless Indy-Seattle game near the end of last season. CF is great because it is different, I'd hate to see it become NFL Jr.

If ND wins out and if the OSU/UM game is close, I dont know, I cant imagine voters voting ND over UM when UM totally destroyed ND

I really don't see where OSU doesn't outmatch UM, and to top it off the game is @ Ohio State. I don't even think it'll be close, potentially worse blowout than the 37-21 dismantling from 2004...

Now as far as a rematch, I might have said no before all these top 10 teams started to up and lose - many to teams they weren't expected to lose to. With tougher games coming up, teams below OSU/UM very well could end up beating each other up / losing their tough games just as OSU/UM will be doing to each other making a rematch all the more possible.

mmm...how about Michigan's offensive AND defensive lines? :D

The ESPN squad had some great commentary on next week's game, breaking down both sides...I'm gonna love watching SC all week, hearing them hype the game.

Go Blue!

ESPN as a whole isn't going to jump on one boat or the other, considering they're broadcasting the game...

OSU scores more points, gives up fewer points, has better depth at most of the key positions, better QB, and Tressel is 4-5 against UM.

Oh, and did I mention the game is at Ohio State?

Michigan by a hair, their run D is sick. Henne and Hart do just enough to get the job done.

My answer to the second question would have been "no" until yesterday, now its more of a "maybe"

I say they'd have to have OSU vs Michigan again if the game is close and USC loses another game

OSU and their offensive line are in for a serious reality check on Saturday.

Smith has had time in every game to pass.

Smith has only had to pass 20-25 times a game to win.

OSU has been able to run the ball.

Michigan will shut down OSU's run game. They will also get pressure on Smith with their front four, and don't expect him to be able to scramble like he has in the past. Michigan is second in the nation in sacks and number one in run defense (less than 30 yards a game).

This is a different Michigan defense everyone. They are one of the best in the country. If Ohio State can score against this D then they deserve all of the accolades that have been lauded on them all year.

hmm, big decision of the year:

Go to Georgia Tech vs. Duke (always fun to go to games, for the now ACC Coastal champion), starts at 1:30 ET
Plop my arse on the couch for tOSU vs. UM, 3:30 ET

I'll be going to Wisconsin vs. Buffalo (joke) only because some of my friends from home will be coming down for the game....but I'll be sure to leave the game in time to watch this game
