Shouldn't this be called the official '05 tax refund thread? Since that is the tax year that the refund comes from.
 
$200 total between state and fed. I just can't figure out why anyone would take a smaller paycheck and take the refund later. Money now is always worth more than money later.
 
i owe the feds like $40,

but i'm profitting off the state of AZ ($60), tax credits ftw (yep, getting more back then i paid over the year)!

I owe some, won't know how much until around April 10th when I bother to sit down and do them up to the point where I hit the submit button. That doesn't happen until April 15th.
 
Just picked up Taxcut the other day. Haven't started it yet though. But we had a kid so hopefully that means we get something back.
 
My dad worked for the IRS for 30+ years so I had him do my taxes. Can't remember what federal was, but state & federal combined was about $815
