Bought a chair 2 years ago, along with it, their MaxAssurance plan. I was told, and it's written that for chairs, they cover normal wear and tear as well as defects in workmanship and/or materials.
This is just normal wear and tear on sitting on this chair for almost everyday.
Called it in to let them know that the cushion for my armrest and butt is gone after all this time. No big deal, the lady said that since the company that made my chair is out of business, they'll just give me a giftcard based on how much the chair was worth when I bought it.
Now I get a call saying that they have to look into what I said to see if I "qualify" because they may not cover what I have. I have it highlighted for when they call, because when I tried to read the above quote to the representative, she said that it's still something that they may not cover and someone has to see the detailed reports on what they wrote.

What is Covered.
