Office XP SP1 Install errors

Hi, I recently tried to install office xp on both of my machines and got misc install errors.
One is running winxp pro and the other one 2k+sp2 . I keep getting an error when trying to overwrite msaccess.exe , exact error is 1328. THen, after that , it cant patch a certain .tmp file which makes no sense. Has anybody experienced anything of this nature,or office xp sp1 has been flawless ?

silly question but you didnt have office running when you tried to install the SP did you?

hehe, not silly I ask ppl the same question
But, No. I did not have office running while installing, I even looked at the processes in case it was running in the background.
