i've just upgrade from office 2000 to office xp and have some question about it..

i have an office 2000 word document done in word 2000.. whenever i open that file with word 2002, word 2002 will always ask me whether i want to save the file or not even if i haven't modified the file a bit and just viewing the document.. anyone know is this is bug in word 2002?

Does this happen with all Word 2000 docs or just the one? Do you have tables in the document? I know with Excel if you just click in the cell it will prompt you to save it. I know of no issues with Word 2002 that could be causing this.

Did you create the file or did someone else? There is an option when creating a document that is going to be shared to track who looked at it last, last time it was viewed, etc. I wonder if that isn't what's going on.
