Office XP crashes comp.

Everytime I run any Office XP program, my computer crashes. I've even done a fresh reformat and everything runs great until I try to run an Office program. Sometimes the computer just freezes, and sometimes it just restarts. Anyone experience this or know how to fix it? Thanks.
