Somehow, I think brushing one's teeth should be left in the bathroom. I think it's the same as wiping one's ass. No one ever does it in public.

EDIT 1: Unfortunately, no pics. Plus, I don't want to disrespect that person's privacy.

It's a little odd but I wouldn't say it's the same as wiping one's ass. Not even close.

No workplace is created equal. Where I work... probably would be considered kinda weird, but I'm honestly not sure if anyone would really care.

... :cookie: now if you only would've mentioned that it's kind of hard to understand people with a toothbrush in their mouth, and I would've gave you TWO :cookie:!

IMO, they only differ in magnitude. The perception with wiping one's ass is that whatever comes out of it smells awful and looks nasty every time; I've never smelled a fragrant fart. The same thing can be said with picking someone's nose. It's regarded as nasty because boogers look nasty.

With toothbrushing, dirty stuff does not come out of one's mouth every time except when someone pukes. (Although, I know a few people who have dirty things coming out of their mouths 100% of the time.) Plus, we use our mouth to put stuff in our body, so naturally, it's assumed by us, in a normal situation, that whatever we're putting in our mouth is okay and therefore, not nasty in our standards.

The common thing between ass wiping, nose picking, and toothbrusing is that it is a form of personal hygiene maintenance.

Why? It's only teeth, you see teeth all the time.

I don't get that 'wiping your ass' thing either, that's so so different.

No ... and I hate it when my wife wanders around the house while brushing her teeth ... she isn't the neatest brusher anyway. Drives me bat$hit. :| Which of course leads her to doing it more :p

It's very hard for someone to cross my lines so I'd find no problem with it. That doesn't mean I'd do it.
