Office problems - calling on AT-effect to make MS see the truth

I want options in MS Office to do the following:
- Outlook: keep outlook from suggesting people's faxes along with the emails
- Outlook: keep the same time & date for ALL DAY events (like birthdays) when changing timezones
- Excel: force the goddamn close button ("X") to behave like in EVERY single other program (like MS Word). [Where is the fvcking consistency?????]

Please do the same as me and complain!

Seriously, I'd like to know, too. This has always annoyed me, but not quite enough to get me off my butt long enough to find out if there really is a solution.

It requires purchasing an addin. This is the only way I've ever found to fix this annoyance. Here's the product we've used:

If you don't have a lot of contacts to modify, you can do what this program does manually by adding the word "FAX" to the beginning of all your contacts' fax numbers.

Wow, they have some neat stuff. Not sure it bothers me enough to pay for it, but glad to know it's out there. Thanks, Werk!

Well, I am sure there must be some option registry entry to only show SMTP addresses .... eveything else would be just stupid.
I can't add the word fax because (I have too many contacts) and because the other software, cell, ... need the real fax number from outlook.
