What do you all do when a certain person at work that is very well loved by their bosses but not by their coworkers. The person who acts as though they are more in love with their job than their spouse. That are constantly trying to make themselves look like they are working on 10 times the amount of everyone else but truthfully aren't doing much more than the normal workload. They don't stop talking about their accomplishments which seems juvenile but the bosses just eat all of that up. That are equals to you but try and delegate work since they feel that they are in a higher position.

The delegation of work is what pisses me off the most.

The person who you are forced to work with but takes everything that is done as their own work. However, after taking that work that is completed as their own, if any problems with the work surface they forward all the sh!t that is wrong and ask you to take care of it.

Mind you I am new to this job and I feel that I have no right to complain at this time. Better yet if I were to bitch about this person I would be seen as the guy who shook up the waters. And with all the bosses completely in love with this individual and me being the new guy, you can see what would happen. I know that this person would throw you under the bus immediately after you resisted them since they keep records of every communication that they have with coworkers. On pin needles daily.

If this sounds like someone you work with, let me know how you deal with this person.

All you can do as the new guy, is put your head down and work as hard as you can. Volunteer to take some of the work yourself, with no help. If your bosses are any good at all, they will recognize your hard work and initiative. You have to believe that over time things even out and the bosses will see that the deada55 is in fact dead wood.

If they keep records of every communication they have with you, then whenever they try to put some of their work off on you just answer them back with a communication that says something like, "If you are unable to take care of this yourself..., complete your assignment without help..., are unable to figure it out..., etc. I will help you out..., fix it for you", etc. Maybe they won't come to you as often if they think the records are going to show that they can't seem to get the job done without your help.
