Office Place/Office Depot Closing sales now at 40% off everything left

Up here in Canada, the Office Place's (Canadian subsiduary of Office Depot) that are closing are now at *least* 40% off EVERYTHING left. Pretty slim pickings, but a few good deals were to be found, the place was PACKED.

All you americans that have Office Depots closing near you might want to check it out to see if the deals are the same south of the border.

Yes thats true, the sale started then, but up until now, the discounts were pretty po'. Like 10-20%.

Now that everything is at least 40% off, some stuff 60% off and up, things are really starting to heat up!

Do you need to pay tax in Canada ?

Merely 15% sales tax in most places. Welcome to the most taxed country in the world.

Although I think tourists can get compensated for the sales tax
they have to pay on their way out of the country..........

My local store had 50% off all remaining furniture clearance items. Bought two O'Sullivan storage cubes for $14 TOTAL! I also was able to price guarantee down the storage cabinet I bought this weekend from $69 to $35 (original price was at least $149).

I also bought a basic Swiss Army knife for $8. 🙂
