Office Microwave rules

Ok, so the microwave here broke for some reason and they got a shiny new one from costco. I guess someone decided to break it in with some microwave popcorn. MAN it stinks in the office now!

rule1 - no microwave popcorn (unless you share)
rule2 - no reheating fish for your lunches in the microwave.

any others?

Oh, pick up your reheated food asap instead of leaving it in there to get cold again. Some people are waiting to use it after you.

Yeah, but some people freak out if another person touches their food. Otherwise, i would. It's usually those people who leave their food in the micro!

Try cleaning it every once in a while? And make sure people cover up their food so the splatterings don't splatter all over the microwave.

Clear the timer off when you are finished cooking your crap (ie: when you take your food out before the buzzer goes off).

GD my distaste for people who leave a time on the microwave, forcing me to press the stop button to reset it so that I can punch my time in, is beyond rapport.

Yah, this isn't really a "stink" one, but the decaying human corpse in the breakroom will surely smell worse than popcorn... after they are killed from not resetting their FIUNG TIME PDOIJFASRF

Just don't microwave food that has a strong smell. If I can smell it at my desk, 100 feet from the microwave, you just broke the rules.

people are pigs..no matter if they are in a professional enviroment or not

i will never understand why people come to work and do the nastiest sh1t..stuff they would never do at home..be it at the employee kitchen, bathroom or gym...
