Tokar heres some info for you. I'm an electrician in NYC. Were working on a job right now on the corner of 23rd and 6th. 20 story apartment building. Guess whats gonna be on the lower level. You guessed it. Best Buy. Will be opened in the spring of this year.

Two BB's in Queens. About a 15 - 20 minute subway ride from Times Square. If you have the weekly
transit card then the subway ride is essentially "free".

OM is quite near BB on Nothern Boulevard (in the shopping mall next to Sports Authority). I use it
when I need deals only offered at OM.

CC in Rego Park. So too a CompUSA.

These are all a fairly short and "free" subway ride away.

Actually I can now go from Times Square to BB on NO. Blvd quicker than going from Times Square to Wall Street (local trains since 9/11/01).

Out of curiousity, anyone that has been to a BB in NY and has shopped at a BB anywhere else outside of NY, how are the prices in comparison??

or you can use the 40 off 200 coupon at staples. thats good till the 16th and OM honors those. so:

200 - 40 - 80MIR = $80
not bad for an 80gGB WD HD.

I am fairly sure that the prices are the same, chain-wide. The sale circulars are the same with the NYC stores and those in the suburbs.
