You'll have to check the serial numbers at your store.

i bought the khypermedia before. It's made by CMC, the most nortorious CDR manufacurer.

if u use it, don't store important data on it. it does not worth the risk.

if u burn pr0n on it, no problem.

Laugh.. I'm not going to say your wrong.. But I work in an enviroment where i burn 100+ cd's a month I use these cd's and to date have had no failures I can attribute to being the cd "other than scratches" I've been using these cd's since outpost used to ship em overnight for 9 bux hehe. I currently continue to use them for all sorts of things.. digital media vcd jpeg storage etc.. Sure.. they might not be worth a crap in 5 years.. I don't have a piece of data here I will still be using in 5 years 😀 even Pr0n gets updated somewhat hehe.....

further note. I've got 3 burners here 2 plextor scsi external 12x10x32 and one 40x12x40 internal.
I have a liteon 24x at home with 300+burns on it. in the past 3 months I've had 2 bad burns do to bad media.
Thats it!!

You cannot beat the performance of these cd's in respect to their price.

I have the taiyo yudens for the important Pr0n..

Cool, use a printable $15/$50 coupon to drop the drive down to $54.99, and + MIR = another $34.99 Cendyne drive 😀

Where I can find the printable coupon?

how about the quality of this CD Writer?

for 24x drives, just check for any 12 digit numerical serial #s and u'll b fine

So a 24-digit alphanumeric serial number is NOT fine? Drat. Time to return it?

heh, there seem to still be cdrs on the shelves at the san jose store. anyways, hopefully these last a decent while. i've had some 3? year old cdrs where the label is yellowing around the edges😛 potentially not good for archiving things, but great for music mixes that bake in the car that stuff😉

btw, the rebate book has free after rebate 50/100 packs that start on the 17th😛
